  Christian and family were great hosts and provided us with a warm welcome and many useful suggestions for dining out and local activities. They clearly enjoy having guests stay at the Chateau and go out of their way to make sure your needs are catered for. Linxe is close to beaches and a good place for day trips to the many beaches and the north of spain including San Sebastian. - Incredibly beautiful castle set in gorgeous grounds. Huge spacious rooms that have retained the original beauty from many years ago, with multiple unique features. It's like staying in a National Trust house, except you can touch and use everything! The self catering apartment we had was huge and really well equipped with a large outdoor area and use of the garden, pool etc. Derek and Ellie, the owners, could not have been more helpful and we just wish we could have stayed longer.
