  Very good location. We appreciated the heated outdoor pool with fantastic views of Houlgate. About 15 min walk down to the beach and downtown. About 1 hour driv - Fab location for exploring the surrounding towns and countryside. The complex was clean and well maintained and the pool was very nice. Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our Spa treatments. The staff were extremely helpful in providing information and tips on where to visit and good restaurants nearby. The town itself is lovely - very French and not too touristy. This is a French resort so don't expect everyone to speak English. We loved the fact that we only saw one other Engl

  Hostellerie Normande was delightful! The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee kettle, and large bathroom. The host and hostess were very helpful and kind, helping us contact another hotel we needed to cancel. The breakfast is well worth the price, especially since tiny Houlgate doesn't have tooooo many other options.
