The staff is exceptional and very willing to help in any way. We used Avignon as our base to travel all around Provence and felt we were returning to a quiet home estate at the end of each day.   I was very pleased by the friendly and helpful staff at this hotel. The location is ideal - in the old city within easy walking distance of the Tourist Bureau and many nice restaurants and cafés.   I liked the tranquillity of a hotel which was set so centrally. It was lovely to come back and sit in the garden of an afternoon. Also it was so convenient for the railway and bus services but as well as having access to everything locally (the Rhone just a stone's throw away).
