excellent 3 stars! close to train station & center, on a quite street, big and clean room and bathroom, wifi working perfectly, very friendly and ready-to-help stuff (they recommended us some non-touristic places to eat and all of them very really great), good breakfast. would recommend & stay again. I really liked the location of the hotel. The staff were very helpful in recommending good areas for a solo female to go (and not go). In the room, I liked how big it was, the high ceiling, and the big window overlooking the street. I also really, really liked the free private gated hotel parking.
所有评语 » We stayed for two separate nights, in two different rooms. Both rooms had comfortable beds and the rooms were not too crowded. We were able to park our rent car in a secure area. Did not try out the continental breakfast. The elevator was a big help with our luggage. Just about everything. We4've stayed several times before and were impressed by the renovations. The location can't be beat for touring Avignon or other attractions in the vicinity. We recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Avignon or the area. Stayed there one night, extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Parking available on site which is extremely convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hotel is situated "intra muros" which means that you can walk and forget about the car!. We loved the location. We could walk to museums, Palais des Papes, & Pont d'Avignon. The chambermaid took pride in her work and was the hotel's best representative. The terrace was a special treat. No parking would have been a deal breaker. Liked the location as very central and pretty close to the train station. The hotel was clean, bed comfortable and staff very friendly. For the amount I paid, this was very reasonable for a city centre hotel. The Angleterre is beautifully located (close to everything). The rooms were excellent and the servise offered by the front desk (especially the men) was superb. We would not hesitate to use them again. Central and convenient but quiet location made this an excellent base for our 5 days exploring in and around Avignon. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Air conditioning worked well. The hotel was located in the historic centre of Avignon, within walking distance of the main sites and lots of restaurants. Having Wi-Fi and off-street parking was very important for us. We really liked the location of this hotel to the city activities in the old city. Staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and other questions we had. Very good hotel for it's price - clean, comfortable and quiet. Our room has large bathroom (at least in number 20). Car parking in the yard is also a big plus. An opening window. The Hotel has Free Parking and Wi-fi. The staff was nice and helpfull. It's inside the old town and about 10 minutes walking from the main atractions. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. Parking in a secure compound at the back of the hotel was great. Hotel is close to the center of Avignon. didn't notice any negative thing. I wish the bathtub hose had a way to hang it and be used as a shower (along with having a shower curtain). I like taking baths, but a shower would have been convenient. The second room we stayed in had no running hot water in the shower (which I am sure is fixed by now). The woman at the desk did give us a small discount, but was very cold to us about the problem. That seemed inappropriate. But we would stay there again. That we could only spend two days this time. Cant think of anything I didnt like. No English language TV channel. Wi-fi seemed a bit patchy. Parking is closed after 22:00. It's rather strange rule because reception works 24/7. An excellent affordable hotel. Wi-fi reception very poor, dropping in and out. This is my only complaint but as i am booking all my planning my trip as I go this becomes a very big deal. Shower needed fixing. standard room was a bit small, so maybe worth upgrading to a larger room. No shower screen. Rooms spacious but in need of updating. I have no complaints whatsoever!. I had no complaints. Nothing negative. The internet was intermittent, and the shower in the bath (without a curtain) was a bit awkward. Breakfast not included in the price. Not much. Fixtures and fittings a bit tired and in need of a bit of TLC. Limited parking. Odd Elevator system to access Parking Lot. The lift is tiny!. plastic cups in our room for drinking water. Room was very compact. a little noisy if you had the window open as no air con. Rooms and bathrooms need renewing. No refrigerator - if you want to buy products in supermarket - you won't have place to keep them. Non-comfortable bed. The room was a bit tired looking. A shower curtain would have made things easier and less messy. Could do with some modernising. The room was a bit old, so was the bathroom. There was no heat in our room when we checked in. They found us a room with heat but the room was old and needed a complete upgrade. Staff worked hard to get us a different room.
