Rooms were clean and hostel is in a great locations, very close to people's square metro so convenient to many lines and walking distane to the bund. Situated on one of shanghais food streets lots of restaurants around. Try number 28 or downstairs. Helpful staff and yummy (but slow!) breakfasts sandwiches. The staff speaks good English, is very helpfull, friendly and nice. The location is excellent, 2 min from dashijie metro station and 5/10 min from people's square. The bar on the rooftop is lovely, they make the best sandwiches of shanghai and are exquisite people!!! Best choice!.
所有评语 » Conveniently located in the center of Shanghai (walking distance to People's Square, Yu Garden and Nanjing Rd), friendly and helpful English-speaking staff, reasonably clean for hostel of this class, nice rooftop bar to socialize with other travellers, inexpensive rates... the location of the hostel to nearby metro station and its proximity to some of the city's attractions like the people's park, night life, among others; the rooms are neat and clean and friendly front desk officers. Good English speaking stuff, free wi-fi in the rooms, rooms contain everything you need. There is good chinese restaurant in the same building. The street where the hotel is located is food street. Great location! The choice of culinary in the area are superb we couldnt get enough. Just one or two subway stop to popular sightseeing spots (People's Square, East Nanjing Road, The Bund). 1. Suitable location: near subway station and walking distance from the most popular sightseeing places of Shanghai. 2. Excellent cleanliness. 3. Low price. Super central location, easy to reach lots of points of interest, high value for money, clean and tidy rooms. The bar on the top floor is very nice. It was close to the subway. Good restaurants nearby. We were 9 ladies and they provided a van for us to go to Pudong airport ~ convenient. Excellent location. Great value for the money. The room was comfortable and the roof-top terrace was perfect to take a load off. localisation (close to metro), staff very helpfull, roof top, room are nice and confortable, great deal for small budget!. it's good to access tourist spot, calm, cheap price, free wifi in my room(single room) and free rent of hair dryer. the roof-top bar!! waiter and waitress were super nice location very close from subway and people's square. Nothing! We had to move as booked out and second place wasn't nearly as continent. Key deposit: 100RMB! They don't give it back to you until the very end. In my case, I was flying out of China very early in the morning, so getting 100RMB at the end didn't help much... its annoying having waiters and waitresses who cannot understand english; situations like these become difficult bcuz u cud not explain what are the food in the menu book; maybe the hostel shud give tutorial lessons on conversational english to its staff especially at the restaurant. waited quite a long time for hot water to be running. The view from the window is not wonderful. Just nothing. There was some mold in the corner of my room. I saw cockroach (OMG), poor cleaning service. smelly room, was at the back of the building, lots of fish smells especially in the bathroom (??). quite noisy too even with closed windows (bad isolation). Don't take your clothes to the laundry there. It is very expensive and the clothes get ruined. double room was a small one, also water in the bathroom was running all the time and as the doors were not closing properly, it was hard to fall asleep... No safe in the room. no water for drinking. Couldn't wake up the entrance guy during the night to help me fix my shower. Cleaness and bedbacks in one of the rooms. No kettle in the room, also staff advised me to change the room to dormitory during my first booking, I used their advise but it wasn`t convenient to sleep before my long day. We find some bug at our room. Nothing. Some of the housekeeper are very nosy and rude. The temperature of the tap water is too difficult to control. My room's toilet has foul smell. the hostel in general: very bad furnishing, sad, old, bad maintenance, it seems like a old, dark hotel converted in a hostel. Ceilings too low. Twin room small, bathroom not comfortable and cleanings approx. private rooms are very small and very simply equipped - for same price you can have hotel room not so far from there.
