Hotel location is in a good part of the city. The stuff is doing everything to satisfy customers. At first, we have been located to a room that we didn't like. We explained to reception our complaints and asked for room change. But unfortunately all same level rooms were occupied. Anyway, they have upgrated us to another room type and changed room as free, just with cancellation of new type's extra facilites.

Great location, exit 7 at Peoples Sauare, helpful staff, upgraded room due to early arrival, beautiful rooms, revolving restaurant on 45th floor, nice swimming pool. Underground fast, efficient and clean and announcements in English. Maglev train from airport went 431km/hr !!. The room was clean, their bedsheets and towels were well washed and dried. Very thoughtful of them to leave a floor towel in between the twin beds where are room slippers were placed. Location was excellent with easy access to eateries, subway and shopping malls. Very Clean & Good Rooms with Excellent Location - Just opposite to the People's Square Metro Station with Shanghai Metro Line 2 connecting both Pudong and Hongqiao Airport and Hongqiao Train Station. Perfect location. Affordable price. Very kind and Intelligent staff, more or less very good English speaken. After a hard day in Shanghai you feel at home entering this hotel !. The hotel was as would be expected from a worldwide hotel group. Very clean, well appointed, well maintained with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Manager compensated every mistake with breakfast vouchers/room upgrade Breakfast was good and staff attentive. Room was clean. Central location, choice of restaurants, very convenient hotel for business travellers, good concierge service. The room was very nice and the revolving restaurant on the 45th floor server good food and wine. I like the location and the staff. Close to everything and the personnel are very friendly. Excellent location and facilities. Rooms are large and very comfortable. The location of hotel is very nice next to shopping malls. upgrade to lovely suite, location and helpful staff. The location is great, close to everything. The sports facilities were good. It was no fuss good service. Staff, room, clean. The location is perfect for visiting the city. As a word of warning don't get in to any taxis without numbers on their door and watch out for engaging students wanting to take you to tea ceremonies as they will rip you off big time. We were fine but you had to be careful and firm!!. Although our floor was non-smoking, can smell some cigarette smoke through ventilation. 1 Litre water (Evian) costs inside the restaurant on 45 floor over 120 rmb. I have no negative comment to make, other than prices, including bar prices were a little expensive. When arriving ,room was not ready. Apologies were given and voucher given. Toilet was faulty in room. Upgrade was offered. Upgrade room had not been cleaned. Apology given and breakfast voucher given. Following this,room was promptly cleaned. Reception staff are not especially welcoming or thankful of your stay, although I spent 2 weeks there. May seem somewhat overpriced. The rooms are to small with old furniture. The room was a little small when you have luggage for three weeks. There was not enough storage space. The size of the bed. The air con was a little too warm and we couldn't seem to get it changed. That has shops in a few floors. The hotel is definatley a business hotel and you can tell this from the staff as they were unfriendly. The prices were expensive for a mediocre hotel. The hotel is definatley not a 5* hotel. You could not see through the glass in the sky dome bar as it was filthy, and when you are paying them prices you should have a good view.
