  The staff were very helpful. We stayed four nights with an overnight trip to Quebec City in the middle. They stored my large bag for the night.   Staff was friendly. Club level was an EXCELLENT value. Pool and gardens were amazing. We kept having to remind ourselves we were in the middle of a city.   We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.

I have visited Quebec City many times and this was definitely the best location that I have stayed.   Well we checked in with no problems. Clean rooms and the fridge is always a bonus. The hotel staff saved my husbands butt as he had previouly picked up some wine. Only to find our it had a cork screw top, Front desk accommodated us with a cork screw and glass wine glasses. Bonus!!! The shuttle driver was standing there and offered to drive us to the train station . Another - The room had everything including an ironing Board & Iron.   I enjoyed being in the inside walls of the city of Quebec. That great feeling of walking the wonderful streets and shops open ate till almost 11pm.Park your car for $20 for 24 hours.   Central location. Friendly staff. Exceptional breakfast. - Hotel was very nice. Very friendly and courteous staff who were very helpful to us. The view from the room was not the greatest, however, the location of the hotel was very central to downtown Montreal, and within walking distance to attractions and restaurants.
