The welcome was friendly and relaxed (though anyone with an allergy to cats should be aware of Rita, the Inn cat who sleeps on the reception counter) and staff were helpful - eg. about storing luggage on the day of leaving. We particularly appreciated the Memory Foam-topped mattress, since we often find in accommodation elsewhere that beds are uncomfortably firm. Food (paid separately) was very good - particularly breakfast pancakes, enjoyed on the lovely deck, decorated with lots of flower-b.
所有评语 » We loved the stay. The manager is so friendly and nice and the restaurant was inexpensive and the food was very good. The staff were all friendly. It felt like a home away from home. The room was clean and it was right there in the village of Ganges which is full of fun stores full of Art. Salt Spring Island has so many wonderful artists. We also loved Rita the cat who welcomed us at the reception desk. We would go back tomorrow if we could. Staff was outstanding. The manager, Jeremy, was pleasant and knowelgeable of the area. He had wonderful recemmendations for food and sights on Salt Spring island. Food and service in the restaurant was above average, the entire hotel wahad been renovated and was spotlessly clean. Location is on the main drag in Ganges, perfect for walking to everything. Excellent experience at the Salt Spring Inn! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the shared bathroom was nicer than I could have imagined! We had a lovely dinner and breakfast the next morning at the restaurant, which was also a great experience. thanks for an excellent night on this beautiful island! . The inn is clean and of high quality. The staff are all as friendly and helpful as can be. The town is quaint and the port and water lovely. The restaurant is open all day, and the food is healthy and tasty, and they make substitutions on request. I could not have asked for a nicer get-away. Very nice location and value for money, the breakfast is delicious and it is served on the first floor where the hotel has an Irish pub. The view of the Ganges harbour from the bedrooms is very nice too. In conclusion this hotel is completely recommendable. If you just like a clean place to stay which is right in town and serves as a great place to explore, the island, this place is great for that. They even have cable TV and free wi-fi! Right across from the Saturday Farmer's Market. The staff was friendly, the rooms were very clean, the restaurant had great food, and the location could not have been more convenient to downtown and the sea plane dock. Wonderful! Jeremy was very responsive to my email inquiry; Inn is just as described on their website; perfect location - close to everything in the small town of Ganges; restaurant on site; Internet access with free WiFi. The weather was gorgeous, I went for the purpose of the history of my grandfather who was a doctor there & father who lived on salt spring in 1900-1916. Very cute town, I would come back again. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was excellent! All the staff were pleasant, relaxed and offered good service. The cat too was friendly and amusing. Very Clean, cozy, comfortable, warm, quiet, great location. Shared bathroom was just fine and spotlessly clean! Never had to wait to use. I would definitely stay here again! :). The inn was so clean,absolutely spotless. Comfortable beds. Everthing was close at hand,bars restaurants. An old school charm that hotels don't offer anymore. Upon entering I was greeted by Rita the little black cat. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My room was very tidy and decorated perfectly. Very friendly, clean & hospitable. Reasonable price. The only thing that bothered was that some of the rooms share a bathroom down the hall. So in the middle of the night you can hear keys turning in the door which of course puts your alert system up. It sounds like they are trying to get in your room but of course they are not. Room was a bit small and didn't have an easy chair. 1. Had a slight problem with the tv and satellite reception. The owner corrected it. The deluxe room had a queen-sized bed so it was rather overpriced - breakfast thrown in would be better value Mattress was rather soft. Parking was on the street so could be a problem in busy season. Not a thing!. nothing!. Rita doing her rounds in the morning.No, that was even quaint. No complaints at all. I would like a lager TV. The road noise, but that was the price of having a room in town. I always bring earplugs so I slept well. Street noise. Room was very small, no air conditioning. A very quiet town, not much to do after dark. Its alittle hard to find parking on a saturday. Didn't know in advance that it was shared bathrooms or that there was a cat - it was okay, but nice to know in advance to pack a robe. I would have liked one chair to sit in in the room. Nothing to complain about at all. Small room, small tv, no sitting lounge. Parking is not their best attribute. Size of the room. bathroom in the bar was a mess. Room noise from nearby traffic. It ws my fault, because I didn't read the description carefully, but we assumed that a hotel room would have a bathroom and shower. It was a wonderful place, but we would have paid more for a bathroom ! Again, my fault :). shared shower/washroom facilities (they were very clean though!!). Rooms were very small and got very hot. We had some problems with the staff agreeing prior to the booking to provide a room with a private bathroom and then finding on arrival that no such room was available. road noise. Pretty funky facility - it seemed old and in need of some tlc. They don't mention that the bathroom is shared.
