The view was a nice one...I'm sure there are better but I can't complain. We di - Jay was the first person we met there with the valet service provided. He was so friendly and nice and remembered our names each time we met him. He went out of his way to make us feel special and this made our first stay here memorable. Thank you Jay!   Gem in the forest! My family is 5 people with 1 infant travelling from Thailand for 10days in Canada. This is the most impressive hotel we stay in Canada because of its style & location! Unlike lake louise that seems to be so popular, Emeral lake is a gem in Banff that we mostly recommended.   We had a great view of the mountains in Banff from our room. The hotel is up out of the townsite, so you feel like you are in nature. The room itself was modern and roomy. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Also, the shampoos, creams and soap products were very nice quality and natural. Free use of the fitness facilities, pool area and free WiFi, was another bonus.

  Theresa and James were excellent hosts and very helpful... the house itself is clean, quiet, and very relaxing. Can sit by the fire and read a book or if it's nice, sit outside on the deck (which we didn't get to because it was a little cold). Breakfasts are delicious!
