The apartment is very very nice and comfortable. The bed is perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped and easily allows the preparation of meals (despite the microscopic table for consuming them). The location is very convenient for the Brussels-Midi station (15 minutes walk) and the center (15 minutes walk, but at a good pace). Perfect for our needs. The windows open onto a very small courtyard in front of a wall (then with poor visibility of the sky).
During the night, some women spent some time laughing and talking loudly in the apartment next to ours. So we've been awake for a while.
The bathroom is not up to the rest of the house: broken shower door, poor furniture.

Fuse tripped 4 times when we were using appliances in the room - owner is fixing power though.
Trying to find the place was a bit difficult. It doesn't show up on any map. It's a side street. Even some taxi drivers didn't know where it was when we asked.
At the top of a fifth floor walkup, as Americans count floors, the eight half-flights of stairs are challenging to anyone wrangling more than a backpack.
The hot water machine makes noise in the night that I was waken a few times.
Located on 4th floor with no lift. Spa bath was not working, and double
bed in 2nd bedroom had broken slats. Both these problems advised when we
arrived, but story was they were broken by previous american occupants -
although that explanation appeared flawed.
When I spoke to the owners about there terrible hidden prices I found
them to be unbelievably rude. Would not stay here because of the way I
was spoken too...
- no sign of the apartment on the street
- the stairs.
