  I stayed here in May 2013 and I loved this Hotel, exactly the type of accommodation I look for on a City Trip. Comfortable, traditional, and in an absolutely fantastic location! Literally step out of your door and your are right in the centre and within 5 or 10mins (walk) of all the main attractions and there is plenty to see and do on the way. Th - there was a radio in the room which ı have never seen in any hotel before. the personnel were friendly and always smiling. ıt is in the middle of the center and u-bahn is so close. there are lots of things close to the hotel. the bed and pillow was very comfortable. the room was clean. the chocolate that they everyday leave in the room after cleaning was delicious:) the bathroom was clean and in good contion. everything in the bathroom was useful,clean and new.

  I was delighted to discover this excellent hotel right in the centre of Vienna, immediately opposite the Stephansdom. My room was surprisingly quiet even though it overlooked the large plaza with so much outdoor activity going on.   The location was perfect. Walking distance to most major "must see" sites. Wonderful restaurant / bar and terrific roof top bar. The room was not generous but very comfortable with nice quality linens. Staff was very accommodating and professional.   Astoria is ancient hotel with good tradition of services. Helpful and attentive staff, comfortable and lovely room, location in the centre - near Opera, museums, nice restaurants and cafe.
