  I was delighted to discover this excellent hotel right in the centre of Vienna, immediately opposite the Stephansdom. My room was surprisingly quiet even though it overlooked the large plaza with so much outdoor activity going on. I will stay there again. - I've stayed at Hotel am Stephansplatz a few times now and each stay is being made into a very nice experience due to the very experienced and friendly staff.   The location was perfect. Walking distance to most major "must see" sites. Wonderful restaurant / bar and terrific roof top bar. The room was not generous but very comfortable with nice quality linens. Staff was very accommodating and professional.
