The rooms are neat and tidy, and generally quite large. Service was friendly and efficient.
This used to be a hospital, so some of the rooms have rather awkward layouts. In particular, my room had a very narrow bathroom (only about 1 metre from one wall to the other). This is not a deal-breaker, and I will be staying there again.

the big bathroom, the blinds were effective in keeping the room darkish in the morning, the bed was very comfortable, parking worked OK.
entry was confusing with driveway from Bell Street blocked off and arrows on other entry pointing wrong way! check in was slow.
It was very relaxing and cozy...i was on a honeymoon and we both loved it...

We had a spacious room, good views. the restaurant is very good, may be a little expensive. The staff over all was excellent.

Had a problem with the Mini Bar which was quickly adjusted by efficient well mannered staff.

Great location when travelling by car - parking is good and access, particularly from the airport, is really easy. Tram and train stops within a few minutes. Rooms are trendy but very comfortable.
Bare minimum of equipment/utensils. Some maintenance issues.
Very easy to find. Fast check-in. Great restaurant and lovely staff. Room very clean although a bit compact for twin beds. Good parking. Great views - we could even see Mt Macedon in the distance.

only thing i did,nt like was one pillow in king size bed it smelt like b.o....it was not the pillow case it was the pillow..i,m not whinging i,m just telling you the truth.......penny
Mirrors around wall of our room reflected images to enlarge the room, great view over Melbourne from 5th floor. Large carpark; ease of access to airport, major routes. Enjoyed shower only, not over bath.
Smallest, narrowest hand basin we had ever seen in tiny bathroom. Shower was brilliant once we worked out to turn each tap the opposite way.

Air conditioning not ducted and room unit not switched on in our West- facing room when we arrived at 4.40pm on a 35 degree plus day. Also, room air con unit noisy at night.

prices of the bar fridge...and the tray all the goodies where in dust all over it if you lift a tin of nuts a circle of dust on the tray.... doesnt get cleaned to often....water marks on walls next to bed not cleaned properly..
The rooms were well set out and the view from the room was great. Having restaurants/bar/cafes on site is brilliant.
I know its a sign of the times but charging for use of a credit card even in the restaurant annoyed me, it was a debit card that you push credit, I don't get it.

Shower was moldy, no room service, had to call to get clean towels, smoke alarm went off even when toaster was set on very low,underground parking should be free to residents and lights above sink didn't work and safe didn't reset.
You don't have any vendor machines, where one can get something to drink or snacks after your early closing times.

I have to wait to check in, apparently the room is not ready yet , even though I arrived after 2pm. I stayed for 2 nites, no one come to tidy the room or change towels though I hang the "please makeup room" on the door. The bathroom was just too small
Beds were very comfortable, rooms were reasonable, the breakfast buffet was decent. The chef at the the breakfast buffet was particularly helpful and friendly.
Cleanliness seemed to be dubious. It didn't seem like the sheets had been changed as the pillows smelt of someone's cologne. The beds were poorly made. The dirty dishes were not washed. The corridors were not vacuumed.

Poor attention to detail - room was setup to enable to cook a meal if you so desired - poor quality cooking utensils - dishwashing powder (extremely caustic) supplied to washup afterwards. Decore in the access ways near lifts showing a lot of physical damage - maybe we just were given a room for the budget customers - I can't quite figure it out
Convenience to family. Newer styles with good outlooks.
Had to move rooms due to traffic noise from Bell St and sewage smell in room. Beds ordinary. The second room was quieter on the southern side of the hotel, the bed was worse and the sewage smell was less dominant. Seems the hotel has a bigger problem in this regard.
The bed was super comfortable and the view was amazing. Loved the staff, very friendly and helpful.
The shower was broken in the room we were given however the staff promptly fixed the problem. The second room we were given had a damp smell which we discovered was because the shower leaked onto the carpet, but we didn't want to move again.

We had a lovely room, nice views. also had a very nice meal at your restaurant.
We had breakfast in our room, the breakfast was very nice, but the cutlery in the room had still food from previous usage, we travel a lot, and dirty cutlery is not acceptable.
Nice size room, comfy bed. Though out of the cbd, close to the train station or tram stops so pretty easy to get into the cbd.
The bathroom was tiny with a really stiff heavy door, plus the shower had the taps labelled incorrectly. They also never refilled the mini bar.
