We had a quiet and spacious room. The complimentary (continental) breakfast offers a generous choice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood and next to the botanical garden, which makes the walk to the city a very pleasant stroll. Lunch and dinner options are just around the corner, but with Toorak Rd within easy walking distance eating and drinking options are multiple. We preferred a 15 min walk to Chapel St. Have a last drink in the hotel on th.
所有评语 » This is a wonderful hotel in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The hotel has its own bar, wonderful continental breakfasts with a wide variety of choices, the hallways are lined with chinese antiques, and the rooms are comfortable and both modern and full of character at the same time. I stayed in what was probably the smallest room in the hotel but found it ideal for all of my needs, including a good desk under the window for working. Staff went out of their way to provide a better room as we had erred in our original booking. Room was comfortable and hotel well located. Breakfast selections were excellent and coffee great. Australia and Melbourne are expensive compared to other similar international locations and this hotel is similarly afflicted. But we were very happy there and would definitely go back. The room (#10) and ensuite were large and it was an added bonus having a microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was healthy, tasty and plentiful and the room it was held in was cozy and inviting. Location is excellent with a tram stop at the door but within walking distance of the CBD. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The elegance of the building. Quiet and comfortable. Unique furniture and furnishings. It was like being in a country Manor House for the landed gentry. The Hatton is an utterly charming boutique hotel which gets everything that matters about accommodation right: service, privacy, comfort, character & location. It's home, with a spritz of class, and as easy to slip on as a familiar pair of silk slippers. It was a pleasant stay. The hotel is in an older building but the room was comfortable and the location to public transportation convenient (the tram to the city square area is outside the door). The continental breakfast was also excellent. We always stay at the Hatton when we go to Melbourne. Duvets were too hot and required the a/C. We migrated to a blanket and no a/C. An optional lighter weight duvet might be a nice addition. It's an older residence and suffers from 'creaky floor syndrome' as expected really. Would have liked some sort of a non slip mat on the bottom of the bathtub as when you stepped into it you stepped onto the curve of the back of the tub. If the glass shower screen was a foot shorter that would have been perfect. Nothing. Can't think of anything I've ever disliked about The Hatton!. No pictures or mirrors on wall of Room 20 makes it feel a little stark - like a monk's bedroom! One nice artwork would really improve the ambience of a lovely quiet small room with a gorgeous urban outllok Beds should be pillowtops in this price range, my bed was very firm. Nothing. The step to get into the bath/shower was a bit risky. Very limited parking. Room a bit hot overnight. A bit noisy when rooms are being cleaned. It's just a little thing but the showers could be stronger and less temperamental. paint finish in rooms was bit sloppy, noise from room above, polished floors should all be same colour finish. Main room was dark, bathroom light finish. We had a quiet room at the top, there were three flights of stair which may put others off but the staff were helpful in getting bags up and down. Nothing, was perfect. There was nothing to compliane about, i enjoyed the stay. our room was super clean and well equipped, but was very tiny. The size, although rather charming, did not make moving about too easy... Fine for a night, but any longer would be a bit of a pain. More parking facilities at the back of the hotel and only four spaces that were very tight. Parking not guarantee so you need park on the street. Staff of 7-11 nearby is horrible. Train is not cheap so if you have many people, take a cab may be more valuable. It is a bit of a walk into Melbourne centre, about 25 mins?, but manageable. Breakfast was inconsistent-sometimes they ran out of certain items. Staff didn't always seem to know what was going on. I had to change rooms and the new room was empty, but they made me pack everything up and put it in their office until official check-in time, which was stupid. nothing. No light up on the roof deck. No access to wifi in the rooms, some staff unfriendly, very small room. Bed resembled a bouncing castle. It was stretching things to advertise parking on the website when there are four spaces for 20 rooms. No cable news channels-. Challenging parking. Unfortunatley our airconditioner broke but was quickly replaced with a heater so all good.Our milk wasn't replaced so ran out,otherwise all good. Shower was a bit awkward. Some rooms with shower separate to bath would be good. * No toilet brush in the toilet!. badly made coffee...!. Nothing!!. Just a small thing - should have mugs as well as cups in the room!. I really like some protein with my breakfast, so either some eggs, cold meats or fish would have made an indulgent breakfast spread a bit better for the sugar levels. Breakfast ok but limited choise. The noise from the room above us.it was like someone umping around. late start breakfast (7am).
