The staff were very welcoming, friendly & accommodating. Very helpful with queries when phoned. The location was easy to find & very quiet. The breakfast was very enjoyable. Recommend to friends to stay. & look forward to staying again. Rooms very nice & great electric blankets! The inclusion of a microwave, toaster & small fridge very good idea for our room. Fantastic friendly reception on arrival, reasonable sized rooms, clean and functional. great having breakfast included, and restaurant on site was a definite bonus. i would definitely stay here again, so far best motel we have used in Goulburn as far as value for money and service go.

The offer for complimentary buffet breakfast was also wonderful, especially just jet setting in the car to go home from a long drive from coffs harbor to Melbourne!!. I was welcomed upon arrival and the Staff at the Motel Inn and Steakhouse were all very friendly and helpful. This accommodation was very clean and provided everything I needed for an overnight stay including a delicious steak dinner. Front office staff were friendly and very helpful. The room, although quite small, was adequate - the aircon was good. The shower pressure was excellent - the best I have experienced. Breakfast was included and was very satisfactory. Nice and quiet location of room, heard no road noise. Being able to drop off our milk and other items that needed to be kept in the fridge before able to fully check in. Continental breakfast included in price. Though the room is fairly small it was clean and well provided for. The restaurant was booked out the night we stayed so ate in town. With a free continental breakfast thrown in it's good value for a sleepover. We wanted good value for money and also wanted a clean, comfortable bed for the night. We were very happy with our experience at Lilac City and the meal was perfect and again gave good value. Nice clean well equipped rooms, very friendly proprietors and a restaurant on site that serves good country fare at very reasonable prices. A nice place to stay in Goulburn. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, room was pretty comfortable and enough room for our family of 6 and it was great having a free continental breakfast. Helpful staff, easy to find on main rd, continental breakfast foc due to steakhouse being out of commission. Friendly, helpful staff. Continental breakfast included in tariff. Bed seemed very old/underpadded felt like you were just about sleeping on the base. but still functional (i just have a very good bed at home so always a hard one for me to compare). the freezing cold outside!. Service in the restaurant was slow. My main course was not served as I ordered. Nothing. None really, maybe its a bit far from the centre of town but that was not an issue for us. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Nothing really, but room could do with brightening up. Heat outside. the washbasin being in the room. No hot water in the morning which was a technical breakdown for which management apologised. none. Room was a bit small but adequate for a one night stay. Only needed a bed and a shower. Bathroom facilities are not great - no basin in the bathroom and using the kitchen basin for hand washing is not hygenic!. NOthing. room very basic. A little noisy. very soft pillows, worn out towels, freezer in a fridge was out of order ( room 23). the place was just a little tired. Rooms are old & need updating. It was dirty. The shower was covered in mould. Paint was peeling off the ceiling. The towels were threadbare. The bed was uncomfortable. The restaurant was overpriced. Overall a very diss appointing experience. room dull, bed uncomfortable & pillow no good.restaurant was closed. This place is quite dusty and dreary looking.
