1. We were totally unexpected for the spaciousness of the apartment; 2. The cleanliness of the bedrooms and WC facilities were expected; 3. The central location of the block was very convenient to us and I expect will be more convenient in the near future when the GC's very own Light Rail Transit (LRT) system currently under construction is operational. This system runs along part of the Gold Coast Highway and passes outside Silverton Apartment itself. That will be a boost to the GC's public tr.
所有评语 » The views- beach & river side, location and spacious apartment was amazing! The spa, swimming pool and tennis court were great facilities too! The staff were friendly and helpful during our 2 week stay. The carpark was easy to access. Value for money...Definitely would stay there again!. The apartment was so spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and the pool and kitchen facilities were above expectations. Perfect apartment for a group where you can socialise all together but not be on top of everyone. The in room laundry and massive balcony were great also. The staff were very good and accommodating. We could not make the week we wanted to go because of floods and they changed our week with no problem. The apt they put us into on the first day was absolutely disgusting and they changed us to another apartment without any fuss at all. We had excellent views of the ocean and amazing sunrises. The position is one block from the water, so we enjoyed leisurely strolls along the shore. There is a wonderful Thai restaurant across the street . The unit is comfortable and roomy. Parking is safe and secure. Great value for money! Apartment was big and comfortably furnished. The view of the river from the balcony was gorgeous and location was convenient. Close walk to beach, shopping, dining, and public transportation. Location was definately a plus, accessible to everything and everywhere. The double b/room unit we had was fantastic, plenty of space, great views and the gym was an added bonus. Thanks for a lovely holiday. The apartments are very close to a patrolled surf beach and the local surf club which has great meals. The staff were very helpful, warm and friendly. The apartment was clean and tidy. The proximity to different places although not being able to make a right hand turn out of Silverton was a bit of a nuisance! The light rail must keep on I suppose. Friendly helpful staff,beautiful ocean views,close to public transport, although fully booked it was very peaceful,good value for money. good facilities, apt nice and clean but decor a bit dated, good view, carparking was good, helpful staff, close to amenities. We loved the birds that visited daily. Loved the location. Helpfully staff. Great accommodation. Great location, easy relaxing accommodation, close to all the beaches and just a great place to stay. Very close to activities, eating out, lots of room in the apartment and the views were outstanding. staff frendly and helpfull appartment was bigger that i thought it would with massive balconies. Comfortable. Relaxing. Reception ladies were helpful. 2 bathrooms was great, one for each room. First impressions were good, very spacious and good location, great views of Nerang River. The view was wonderful and the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Room 13 on the 2nd floor was clean and had all we needed. nice quiet river veiw. for the cost of the room I will definitely be staying there next time I go up. Everything except ALL venetian blinds were damaged and should be replaced!. Clean, good value for money, fairly quiet at night, good apartment set-up. Location was great. The Apartment was quite spacious, whilst the facilities were ok and the Staff were quite friendly. It was close enough to Surfers Paradise to make access to local attractions and shops easy. Close to beach and excellent panoramic view to 5he river. Apartment is very spacious(i booked a two-bed room）. Linens are clean. The view of the river from our balcony. Room 34 was absolutely amazing. My in-laws where very happy with it. security conscious. Friendly receptionist. Liked the Pool and spa. Unfortunate that Sauna wasn't working during our stay. The exterior facilities are lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful and the position is good. Self contained. Staff accommodating of the fact I was a late check-in and early check-out. I like the pool area and grass good for kids to relax out of the apartment. Nice big self service apartment. Great location and great view. Location & Views, also facilities. Location, comfortable bed. The view. Fair for money. 1. Parking is expensive in the gc area; 2. Apartment has glass panels which appear to have their last wash last year; 3. The carpet was filthy; 4. The chair cushions were filthy. 5. The apartment was not very child friendly. There was no lockable sliding screen to prevent a child from wondering onto the patio at higher levels. At times, it would get quite noisy due to been along Gold Coast Highway. Very disappointed that additional amenities (soap, towels, toilet paper) were an extra cost. It was unacceptable that the security system, for the entrance doors didn't work. At 2am in the morning there was a drunk guy passed out in the lift...Quite dangerous actually!! Some kitchenware were dirty before use and a proper sponge wasn't supplied to wash the dishes. One of the locks on the balcony door didn't work, it wasn't a major for us but for security reasons this should be fixed. Apartment 73 is disgusting. Dirty and falling to pieces!!! The owners should be totally ashamed of it being in such bad disrepair. Be warned! Despite the loveliness of the units, a 2 night stay does not entitle you to 2 night's worth of toilet paper. Guests must replenish the rolls themselves. Don't be caught out!. Roadworks outside on the mainroad. Very noisey but understandably outside of your area of concern. It was difficult to travel south when leaving the apartment due to the lack of turn-around areas in the area. Only 1 airconditioner meant the bedroom took a long time to cool down. My apartment faced west so was hot in the afternoon. Next time I will make sure I can book a beach side apartment. The curtains in the lounge needed to be repaired and the bulb in the lamp on the right side of the bed was not working!. Nothing. the sliding balcony doors banged all night with the wind, extremely annoying..no spare blankets or pillows, no remote controls for the tv. rubbish bins in carpark smelt disgusting (4 days). Couldn't turn right across traffic when exiting. n/a. The crockery and pans were not clean, remote did not work, games room one of the game machine did not take the coins. all good. The photos are only of the flash rooms, not a variety of all the rooms. Not enough kitchen ware e.g spatulas. Someone parked in our car park which put us at risk of getting towed. Air conditioner wouldnt turn on, couldnt connect to port for wifi. Ensuite bathroom was in need of repair. Renovations going on and noise kept my husband awake. The reception staff were a bit rude at times. Small balcony. I don't have anything to complain about. NOTHING!. Fans didn't work properly; could hear the neighbours. While the fittings were a bit tired, all the place needed was a good paint and that would have made it look near brand new. Id suggest a brighter white as well. China white is too creamy and dates quickly. Oh and a non stick fry pan would be very handy! I bet the cleaners would appreciate it. Apartment was in need of serious repair and refurbishment. The seals in some of our Windows was coming out, doors didn't quite close properly etc. Complimentary soup was missing. far from city centre. - Wifi didn't work well (we paid u$32 for 3 days). Difficult to get keys after hours. Dvd player was not connected and power cable was missing. Can opener was broken no bulb in the bedside lamp reception not manned. No toilet paper on arrival. No hair dryer. Small TV. Nothing really noticed your spa could use a clean. no air conditioning. window doesn't lock. no instructions for how to work that TV remote control; if my parents had gone, they NEVER would have figured it out. lounge room furniture was tattered and uncomfortable...reading or watching TV was actually unpleasant because of the furniture. The building, apartment itself and the furniture was very dated. The cane lounge had rips in the cushions and was old and stained. The table and chairs were badly stained. It was comfortable and spacious, but extremely dated. Needs an upgrade. It's an old apartment so the carpet looks quite dodgy. Rooms don't really pleasant to stay. Windows are rusted and hard to be pushed. Floor is oily at some places . However it is cheap so the price is actually reasonable. The fact that we couldn't just go down to our parents room 2 floors down, had to meet them on the ground floor. Room 47, which was in need of upgrading, big holes in bed bases, big pieces missing out of kitchen bench, harbouring germs. Lack of equipment hardly any knives and forks. Four people in a room with two bathrooms and only two rolls of toilet paper for a weekend. Not Happy jan. Linen was bit dirty. had some stain marks. The apartment was scruffy and didn't appear to have been cleaned. No Dvd player, and the ironing board broke while i was using it. The futon was bent in the middle and fluff from the dryer had been left on the floor of the laundry. The windows have not been cleaned in ages and some did not close completely. Needs an upgrade badly. We wont be staying there again!. 1. Was very "worn" in that wear-and-tear" was very evident on walls, carpet, bathroom, fittings, dining table. 2. The apartment was barely shielded from the road noise outside; found it quite noisy at night despite having windows and curtains closed. 3. I was an after-hours check-in and tried; repeatedly attempted to contact staff on the phone at the entrance dialling #9, but this number rung out every time (prob 6 attempts over 1hr). Didn't think the apartment was up to stranded specially with kids. Apartment and building was old and dated. But great location. Lounge furniture which was old and worn. Apartment in some areas was not clean, especially in the bathromm and laundry cupboards. It was also quite dated. Washing machine do not work, told staff but not fix.
