The welcome by receptionist was excellent, telling us not only about the motel but also about Byron Bay. A 2 minute walk to the beach through the back gate of the motel and across sand dunes. A walk of a further 5 mins or so along the beach brings you into Byron Bay. Walk along pleasant road into B.Bay took 10 mins max all on the level,thus an excellent location. We arrived by Greyhound Coach and it took us no more than 15 minutes to get there on foot. The motel was spotlessly clean both inside.

They were keen to help with anything, provided a continuous supply of toiletries/tea/coffee /hot chocolate and even had umbrellas, towels and games that we could borrow for free. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have air conditioning and foxtel in the room. The beach is literally a minute away and it's a 2 minute walk from the main street. Owner was very helpful and friendly, willing to help us find and book activities for young toddlers and for the rainy day. The 3br apartment was huge, well equipped and in great condition. We had in-laws and two toddlers and everyone enjoyed staying there. Will definitely stay there the next time we're in Byron Bay. Rooms were clean and tidy and the motel staff were just super to deal with. They were friendly, made check-in and out a breeze and offered good advice about how to get around the road closures associated with an event being staged in town on the weekend of our stay. Location was superb, walking distance to town, great access to beach, surprisingly quiet. Reception staff allowed us slightly earlier access to our room as it was ready, which is always a blessing when you have come off a road trip and the parking was good. the owners and staff are good people who give generously of their time. Any time I asked for anything (information, extra cocoa and milk), they were ready and willing to help. such a nice change from the driven, manic feeling of the city! love Byron Bay. Anna the receptionist was very lovely, helpful and very pleasant. She let us check out an hour late (due to us having a late night in Byron) thank you Anna. We will be back to stay when we travel to Byron again. Cheers for the hospitality Anna. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and very accommodating when we experienced car problems which forced us to stay an extra night in Byron Bay. We also loved the fact that we could borrow beach towels and body boards!. Bed linen all washable (ie. no duvets/non removable doonas). Beds were extremely comfortable. Very well located - close to town and great little walk over trainlines to beach. Easy going atmosphere. Great value for Money. That staff stayed back and when I was running late and contacted me regarding the booking. facilities were very good, close to town and left me with a good impression to the extent that I would happily stay there again. Rooms were well equipped and spacious. Has a delightful walk through to the beach and is only 3 minutes walk from the fascinating and fun town. Make sure you visit the lighthouse. It was quiet and spacious. Facilities were simple but good, well maintained and clean. The mattress was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and the hot water was hot. The location is spot on! Byron Bay is a beautiful town with fantastic facilities and scenery and to find such good and economical accommodation in such a place is incredible !. It was a very clean and tidy motel in an excellent location far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk around Byron Bay. i would recommend to anyone. The owner of this motel was so friendly and great with my son we enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly come back and recommend to anyone many thanks Lisa. Location is awesome.Staff are the most friendly and helpful you could find,accommodation comfy with lots of room(family deluxe).great pool and bbq.Free parking. Equiped with all basic equipment, very friendly and supportive staff, good location - close to the beach and not short walk to the townes main attractions. Staff very helpful, happy to do anything asked. Seperate room for children had toys in it, which for anyone travelling with young children is a lifesaver. We'll be returning. i really liked that the hotel was close to the beach and in walking distance of the main strip of byron bay. There was a storm-related power cut while we were there, and staff responded promptly with candles. The amenities were ideal and the location was convenient in regards to night life and shopping. The walls were thin, could hear the phone in the reception, and the pipes banging, but it didn't bother us once we figured out what the noises were. internet access should be free these days. dirty blanket (two food blotches from a previous guest). but it was such a minor thing that i didn't bother raising it. Would have liked to stay longer. Everything was excellent; no negatives. Even though the list of facilities did not include this, the inclusion of a microwave oven would add some basic cooking/heating up options. There's certainly the space for one. Unfortunatley i was advised when i arrived that there was a football team staying the weekend and the boys certainly partied hard and were fond of using all sorts of language at the top of their voices and making the use of the pool and BBQ facilities impossible i'm glad it was just my wife and i and no children. Nothing.This is our 4 th visit here and we'll keep coming back. Owner spraying chemicals on weeds the day of a storm, so all chemicals would wash into the waterways. Unfortunately, we got one of the rooms that was facing the very busy road and was noisy even with all windows shut. Only two of the rooms face the street I think. Nothing. Not much. It was excellent value for money. Rooms were small, would have liked a lounge chair in the room or a table to sit at. Ashtrays on all tables outside the front doors/windows. Strong smell of fabric/carpet freshener. There were no face cloths in the bathroom. Nothing!. Because it was school holidays, a number of young people were staying there and they could be a bit noisy at times but it was quiet after dark. Nothing not to like!. the website was a little decieving as our family apartment did'nt reflect the one we saw. The facilities was very basic but clean, we think the cost was probably to high. However we had a lovely weekend and would definately stay again, only we would look for special offers. Thanks!!. People smoking on the balcony, it drifted into our room. Nothing to report. Though a little expensive for the room as there was only 2 of us. nothing. nothing really could do with new beds but still comfy. The rooms were a great size but starting to get a bit old & tired. There was nothing we didn't like.
