I was only there for a night, as I had an early flight the next morning The staff were friendly and helpful. Its in a good location with many eating places nearby. It was a $25 taxi ride, but compared to the much higher cost of hotels closer ,that was fine. It is very well located in reach of the CBD and the airport with transport at your fingertips. There are some great restaurants around the corner as well. The staff is very and go out of their way to assist you in every possible way.
所有评语 » Great comfortable motel Quite basic but nice little touches. I read other reviews and was really worried about the noise, I stayed on a Friday night and didn't hear a thing.. I didn't see any sign that place needed to be updated.. Friendly manager, reasonable price, very close to the airport, great internet for business, beats the chook-pen atmosphere of the Formule 1, which is the other choice of budget aiport accommodation nearby. Everything nice quick service easy check in/out nothing was a problem for them they took the time to show me where the shopping centres where clean towels everyday. It was handy to where we needed to be. Clean, friendly, all we needed for an overnight stay in Brisbane without the expensive trimmings we didn't need. Friendly & helpful check-in.Very, very clean. Bed comfy, better than 4* we stayed in previously. Room well equipped, iron , hair dryer etc. The location was suitable, we only needed to sleep there, clean, staff very accomodating as we got in late. Didnt need expensive stay . The on duty manager was very good and made us welcome, the room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Staff were great - we didn't arrive until 10pm and there was no problem with them opening up for us. Close to the airport. Handy to the Brisbane Airport and the Gallopers Sports Club for dining & gaming and close to the suburban railways. Half way between CBD and airport. People were very friendly. Staff were very caring and helpful. Friendly staff and the motel had the comfort and facilities I needed. handy to the airport and having the club over the road is a bonus. Handy location, friendly atmosphere and child loved the pool :). Proximity to the airport, friendly staff, quiet, & clean. Convenient location, friendly reception. We were only there for an overnight and for that reason it was suitable.It was close to Bowls club for a good meal, also close to the car parking station where we were leaving our car (Alpha Airport Parking). It isn't a flash place but the room was clean & it was also quiet. Proximity to the restaurants in Race course rd. It's good that it is getting renovated. The help from the front desk was very good. Good location, friendly staff. Ok for pre flight stop over. Ease at getting to airport. Clean friendly. Location to train station and Racecourse Rd eateries. Friendly staff. The hotel itself is a bit old, but as an airport hotel for layovers its more than acceptable. I had to use further away stairs as they were repainting the stairwell.. So while slightly inconvenient for me, it will be al freshly painted for others.. Bit noisy on the road, but ask for a room not facing the main road if it bothers you. Not a major issue. Just to comment that the old fashioned ¨wood grain¨ formica furnishings give the room a dingy appearance. The bed was very hard, pillows only adequate, would have been excellent to have soft bed, luxury sheets, towels and fluffy pillows with not much expense to do that. The room had just been upgraded and lacked a few things such as a ladies hair dryer and a bed side clock radio. To fill the jug up for a cuppa was hard to fill up from the bathroom tap. Bathroom needs updating, otherwise no complaints!. Public transport is not very good. Information is hard to find. pool area untidy and unregistered cars in the spaces. Nothing. Quite noisy at times due to combination of train line, busy road, and planes. no alarm clock. Unfortunately was under reanimation. Pool looked like it needed a clean. The large skip bin at the front was not a good look but the hotel was undergoing some refurbishment. Just bit dingy place. Hot water took 10 mins to warm up, beds were old and average comfort. Hard matress. Constant noise of motor outside room (5 lower floor) Blinds - but realise this was temporary Needed to be warned that there are 2 Lamington Ave in close proximity to each other. Very noisy room when the people next door were walking around early in the morning. Tarrif Old clapped out motel with a premium price. The rooms are very out dated and over priced not impressed!. The smell in the room when I arrived.
