  We stayed for 3 nights in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Terrie (the owner) is very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area she provided us with lots of information about what to see and do - and there is quite a lot, stuff you don't read about in the regular travel books. We stayed in the Ohana suite which had a very c... vad folk säger » omfortable bed, kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and portable stove top. Everywhere was very clean and the accommodation is in a very peaceful lo - It´s perfect! Our suite was comfortable, clean and cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! (Fresh papaya with other fruits and yoghurt, and freshly baked bread or muffins). Location is absolutely wonderful, very tropical. Wifi worked great. Pahoa is a good base to start many excursions, even though it´s on the rainy side of the island.

  I appreciate the hard work each staff member put into making the facilities clean and beautiful, with a friendly atmosphere. And, it's close to a great smoothie shop!! Parking was affordable and beaches accessible with an enjoyable walk. - Location; price; size of bed and size of room; very clean; but the best thing of this hotel is the old lady ... vad folk säger » singing during breakfast. That was the best description of what aloha means... Very good initiative!
