  Great location - bus stop literally round the corner, beach a short walk away and restaurants and shops everywhere. Staff were helpful and friendly; pool fine; decent-sized lobby for meeting up in; rooms were spacious and clean. There were 14 of us with 7 teenagers travelling as a group and it suited us perfectly. Nice and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Even though Waikiki goes on all night and there is all kinds of night life, the hotel was quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night to disturb anyones sleep.

  We loved everything about this hotel. The location is ideal. The staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and it shows in their outstanding commitment to guest service. The rooms are whisper quiet.   We found every employee at the resort to be friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The area of Ko Olina was perfect for us. Golf, restaurants and beach activities all within walking distance or a free shuttle ride away. Downtown Honolulu traffic was a nightmare and we were so pleased we did not have to deal with that mess on a daily basis. ... vad folk säger » We traveled the entire island and definitely felt that the Ko Olina area was the best! Beautiful, clean, best weather and fabulous beaches. - The service was awesome from valet to front desk, waitresses,bartender, housekeeping, you name it! I really enjoyed the bed it was so comfortable the tub was off the hook. That is what I call relaxation.

  We only stayed one night but what a night it was, a memory to last a lifetime . Halekulani was indeed a tranquil oasis in the midst of the Waikiki bustle. True to its name of "our house befitting heaven" - The staff was superb. The food was excellent and the setting tranquil, yet right off the main Waikiki drag.

Service was excellent - very friendly, polite and attentive (and continued this way after my stay when I left my sunglasses behind).   The Modern is a fantastic place to stay. This was our second trip there and we loved every minute.   When we arrived at approx 7.30am and found out check in wasn't until 3pm, we couldn't have been treated better, they told us to head up to the full buffet breakfast and to enjoy all of it on them, they gave us pool towels so we could use the pool or head to waikiki beach, they looked after all our luggage,and although we had to wait to almost 3pm ... vad folk säger » for our room it was definitely worth the wait, our room was on the top floor with a absolutely fantastic view. Couldn't fault the customer service we - We stayed in an ocean view suite on the 21st floor. We actually had a view of the ocean and the mountains from our room which was really nice. The rooms were updated and very clean and the staff was very helpful. The location was convenient to everything!!! We were a block away from the beach, and the Beach walk shopping area was right downstairs from the hotel. There was plenty to do in the area and we did not need a car. I would definitely stay here again.
