The owner Dennis made us a wonderfull huge breakfeast every morning. So
delicious!!! The area is wonderfull and we loved the antik furniture in
the bright colloured apartment. You will get everything you need there.
You defenetly need a car to get there but I would never stay on Big

Lava viewing area is close too. Overall we enjoyed our time there a lot -
Dennis, the owner, is a retired clown from Minnesota. He is so friendly
and interesting. I loved the view of the ocean! The room was charming -
old Victorian - and very clean. I loved the interesting old stuff in the
room and bathroom. Plenty of space. The breakfast was bountiful - crepes
with fruit, scrambled eggs, outstanding bacon. Dennis also sells
homemade jams, fudge and cookies.

It was so quaint, convenient, clean and comfortable. Just what we needed
for an anniversary. Traveled all the way from Oahu (Kailua) to finally
see the last island we had never visited before. Walking distance to all

Enjoyed our stay but this place would not be good for everyone. No tv and being older historic building the walls were quite thin so this is probably not a good place for kids or party people. Nice continental breakfast (fresh fruit, cereal, juice & fresh baked pastries).
There is also a mini fridge & a small ice chest which they will fill with ice. Did not eat dinner at the restaurant but it was quite crowded so I am assuming it is good.
