  Staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was great (Near many restaurants and a wal-mart just in case, as well as only 20 mins away from nearly every outdoor attraction by Manitou Springs.   Pool was under construction so we were disappointed when we found out because that is one of the reasons that we choice your hotel for the indoor pool; but after taking with the front desk they said we can have passes to the recreation center there. Everyone was nice and willing to help. - We enjoyed our first night so much that we decided to stay another. The staff was so very accommodating to keep us in the same room.

  Breakfast was hot with a decent variety. Great location by I-25 & I-70. Coffee in the lobby avail 24/7. Other folks utilized the shuttle. Can use their computer for free and print things for a free. Pretty lobby; smells good in there. I like the way the building is shaped, with 3 chairs on 3 corners of the floor. Free breakfast was delicious and the eating area was cozy. The free shuttle service is a plus and takes you to the downtown area so you don't have to worry about driving your car downtown.   Liked the courtyard, ask for a courtyard view if you can. Loved the ecological attitude, recycle bins, refillable toiletry containers in the shower, colored washcloths for makeup removal, etc. Don't be fooled by the name, the architecture is lodge-like, but the location is urban. - Very comfortable room and bed. Great staff.

  Continental breakfast was adequate. Was quite warm when I was there - very pleased that the AC worked very well. - I loved how nice they were, and the facilities/amenities were great for the value. Breakfast was great too!

  I read some of the reviews here before booking, some great, some not so great, but the price was the best in town, so I figured heck, I'll give it a try. For my stay, The best part of this hotel is the owners hospitality. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. He immediately closed the room, called the front desk and told t - When I pulled in the driveway, the big sign out front read "Real Furniture", Free WiFi, Flat Screen Tvs, etc. I wondered what was meant by Real Furniture? What a pleasant surprise when I went I went to my room and found furniture that one might find in a bedroom at home. Not the usual drab, cheap, hotel furniture in most hotels. The last time I was in Salida I stayed at a nearby hotel that literally has 2 x 8 boards attached to the walls & covered with wood grain contact paper. Yuk. Anyway,

  The room was amazing and very clean. I was there with my daughter and her friend and my friend for the one direction concert, loved the set up of the room and felt very safe and comfortable. Access to the rail was simple and easy and staff at front desk were very helpful and kind. Overall it was a great experience and we would gladly return. - I liked the spaciousness and the full kitchen in our suite. We had a family Thanksgiving -- turkey and all! Her friendly attitude makes us want to come back.
