  Friendly staff, beautiful facilities, gorgeous setting, great service & perks like excellent breakfast, coffee, tea, water, local newspaper, wi-fi, walking trail around lake w/ outdoor gas flame fire pit all included... And we didn't even use the nice pool, spa and/or fitness center.   The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in the enjoyment of our stay. We were excited about our free upgrade to a harbor view room. We stay at this hotel at least twice a year because of visiting family living in Seward. - The hotel was very clean and comfortable.   A perfect hotel for Juneau! My wife and I were a little nervous when we booked it as the description and the pictures of the hotel didn't quite fit with the price. Upon arrival we found it to be exactly what we were looking for! The Silverbow is not in any way fancy, modern, or in most peoples definition, boutique, but it was exactly what we wante... vad folk säger » d. It is an old building and has all the charm and class that turn of the century buildings have. Loved the room and the quirkiness of the setting. Gr - The room was very clean and also nicely decorated. The bathroom was very nice size with a great bathtub. I loved having the balth salts. The food was great, and the breakfast that came with the room was excellent.The recomendations for food outside the Silverbow were spot on. Location was great. Staff were very nice and helpful. The photos in the dining area were great-they made me want to see more of Alaska.

  My kids loved the swimming pool, even though it was freezing cold! The hot tub was very nice. One of our two rooms (King suite) was very nicely arranged. The staff were really nice and helpful. - Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and furnished well.

  We stayed at the Courtyard on the last night of a 3-week trip to Alaska because it is convenient for Ted Stevens Airport and we were flying home next day. The airport shuttle runs to a schedule and has to be pre-booked but this works well and the driver is very helpful.
