  The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic and we were within walking distance of all shops and there were some lovely restaurants nearby. - I had a park view room so it was as nice to stay in as go out.   The quietness. Like a retreat. Great food. - Staff were courteous and efficient. Checked in early but no rooms were available, they said they would call me when I could go to the room. They did. The room I got I didn't like (close to elevator door and TV not straight in from of bed). They upgraded me to quieter corner room.

The manager (Chris O'Sullivan) went above and beyond to make sure my mother and her friend had a fantastic time - as I (daughter) was unable to go last minute. The rooms were huge by NYC standards, especially nice since I was visiting my son and his fiancé and we got to spend some time relaxing in the hotel.
