  The rooms and grounds are classic Key West, with decor and tropical feel to make any getaway perfect! The pool area was quite and relaxing. We spent 7 hours over our four day stay just lounging out. The Suite, room #120, with a private deck was fantastic. The private deck has a table and chairs for 4, plus a private lounge chair. The local area had a lot of little hidden treasures but was - The staff at Westwinds were great. They helped us with a late check-in, were very friendly, and were always available to help. The concept of the Inn is awesome. They have several separate "bungalow" type buildings with two or three rooms each. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the complimentary breakfast next to the pool was good, and the location of the property is as good as it gets. You can easily walk or bike to Duval Street and to the main attractions in the Island.

  The Grand Guesthouse was an incredibly quiet, relaxing experience. It's away from the party scene in Key West, allowing us to sleep like logs and have a leisurely breakfast on the patio each morning. The beds and pillows were comfortable.   The Avalon is a lovely B&B on the quiet end of Duval, or at least as quiet as it ever gets in Key West. We went for a relaxing long weekend with relatives. There is no bar on the premises, but Pearls B&B is just around the corner with a fairly lively and eclectic clientele. The full breakfast served on the quaint front porch right on Duval St. made for a glorious start to the morning; great people watching spot. The cookies and lemonade in afternoon is a nice touch. Private parking within short walking distance.

  I liked everything about this hotel. It was close to Duval St. which is where all the action is.The rooms were clean, very roomy and decorated beautifully.   We stayed at the Seaport Inn. Excellent location. Apartment S6 has seperate entrance by the pool and private porch and sitting area. We stayed one night. It was quiet and comfortable. We recieved good directions on how to find the key. Everything was well organised.   My husband and I had a four night stay here with our two teenage girls, and loved it. The staff were all great especially Brian (Irish), on the front desk, he gave us such a warm welcome, made us feel special. The room was fantastic, with view of marina. We stayed at this Westin because it is so convenient to the area of Key West that has most of the attractions, shopping, etc. It overlooks the water and is immediately adjacent to Mallory Square where everyone gathers to watch the sunset. We probably could have seen it from our balcony if not for just enough clouds to obscure just the sun each day.

Disappointed that the tikki bar was not open as would have liked to try the indian menu.   Value - There are many hotels to choose from on Key West, but at a cost. The Best Western was a good value. It was clean and easy to get to. It is a little further from downtown but still only a 10 minute drive to Duval Street. We visited during the off season so there was plenty of street parking for $2 an hour off of Duval. Other than the pool, - Courteous and helpful staff. Nice breakfast complete with make-your-own waffle machine. Bus service into Key West stops right outside front door of hotel. Spacious and comfortable bedroom. Free WiFi with excellent signal. Really nice, warm pool and nice cocktail bar beside it. Lovely, cute birds frequent the poolside area.

We felt like celebrities, and we could find no faults with accommodations, views and the staff were very helpful and bent over backwards to assist with any issue. Housekeeping placed candy on the bed each day and inquired of any additional supplies. This was our little get a way for our 47th anniversary and i... vad folk säger » t couldn't have be any more romantic from our relaxing on the beach below our suite to poolside to utilizing the shuttle to visit downtown. - Upon arrival at the Marriot we were upgraded from a Standard King to the Presidential Suite which was totally unexpected! The room was stunning, much more than we could ever ask for and we absolutely loved staying in that room. The fact the resort is outside the town centre wasn't an issue for us although the bus only goes once an hour so it wasn't very convieninet if you miss it! Jeff the pool attendant was excellent and really made our stay more pleasant.

  I liked the historic building and the amount of space I had. My apartment opened on the porch which was very nice to sit on late in the evenings. It was a nice strolling distance from Duval and Southernmost Point. I liked the area. The breakfast staff were pleasant, especially the very likeable Jasmin, who was a pleasure to see in the mornings. Ideal location, just a short walk to the historic center of Key West.
