  We liked the comfort of the beds, the room cleanliness, and the staff was very nice and accomodating. Plus they paid attention to our special instructions before we got there. The location was excellent for those wanting to be close to downtown Gaitlinburg and to Dollywood. This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. - The staff during check in was friendly and very helpful. Someone had taken the remote for the tv, and they had another one sent up in a matter of minutes. Room was clean, loved the balcony, have been there before and hope to return. Having the continental breakfast saved me about $30 a day, so that made it possible for us to do other things.

  The staff at Johnson's Inn were very accommodating. The rooms were very clean. I was impressed at how thorough the cleaning staff were. Everything was well maintained and we were close to the strip of stores I like in Gatlinburg.   I liked everything. The room was spacious, clean and was right on a river. It was also right behind the parkway where there was plenty of shopping and places to eat. It is also right behind all the Ripley's attractions and next door to the Ripley's Aquarium. I just recommend calling the hotel to make sure you are getting - I enjoyed the fact that they had given us an upgrade on our reservation. My fiancé and I loved the proximity to Gatlinburg's main strip and that we weren't forced to pay for parking. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel. Even though we stayed during the weekend, we felt that we had our privacy and didn't notice any commotion. We will definitely come back to River Terrace.

It's a older motel, the court yard IDE we stayed in is the older section, but it was well kept up and very clean. For my kids ages 9 and 21 the Internet and pools are importtant, they had both! And my 9 year old loved having 3 pools to choose from! On one particular night a families kids above our heads got rowdy. One call to the desk resolved the problem in minutes.   The manager responded to the inoperable in-room movies by providing us with a complimentary breakfast. The buffet breakfast was amazing! The pool area is very family friendly with two indoor slides. The lobby area is very warm, yet expansive. The views from the balconies are fantastic, especially the higher floors.
