  It was clear that the hotel was being upgraded and we were happy that our rooms were those already completed. The furnishings were new, carpet and bedding was new, and the rooms were very clean. There were quite a few guests at the hotel but it was quiet throughout the evening.   The staff was absolutely, hands-down, the friendliest, most accommodating hotel staff I have ever experienced and I am 62 years old and travel a good deal. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent, the breakfast very good and the location of the Livonia property is freeway close to all parts of the Metro City. - We only stayed for one night, but... vad folk säger » it was everything we had hoped for and more.   My friend and I stayed at Hampton Inn for a wedding. When I spoke to the hotel manager when I made my reservation, she was more than helpful with my check-in accomadations I needed. Thanks it was a big help. We were able to relax and freshen up prior to the wedding. The room was very clean, the customer service was great. Overall, a great re - Staff person was wonderful and made every attempt to assist us with our schedule - visitation, memorial service for a family member and luncheon following. She allowed us 2 hours in additional move out time so we could attend these family functions.
