  Very friendly and accomodating staff, beautiful spacious room with private bath, wonderful breakfast. A fantastic view of miles of coastline in both directions from the covered deck. Absolutely wonderful and engaging hosts. Our children visited on the lanai and cracked fresh macadamia nuts. In the morning we drank rich Kona coffee, from the local landscape and delighted in sharing adventures and insiders knowledge over a perfect breakfast. Easy location to beaches, restaraunts, and sunny Kona weather. Kurt's family home surpasses any destination hotel or resort. We longed for it after moving on to other parts of the island. 5 stars.,

  Eric, the owner, is an extremely friendly and sympathetic guy. Normally he rents out the complete house as a retreat center to groups. When there is no group booking, then he rents out the 6 apartments(each like 80 qm size) in the house to tourists. Living there is more like being at home then being in a hotel. There is no room service and other h... vad folk säger » otel like stuff, but free WLAN all over the house, a kitchen, fruit trees in the huge garden... We stayed there for 8 days and had a great and relaxed - Everything! Eric, the owner,gave us a tour so we would know where things were. We had a 2 bedroom suite with lanai and bathroom for $90. Unheard of value. Laundry was down the hall and free with detergent and softener provided. There is a well stocked kitchen for use by all guests. Very quiet and pleasant place.

  What a wonderful start to my Hawaii adventure. Such lovely hospitality and beautiful surrounds. And - the most comfortable bed!   Breakfast was great meeting other travelers from around the world, very casual and relaxing. Nice setting in Tropic flora, nice west coast location for travelling either direction. - Everything. Everyone was so nice and friendly, breakfast was simple but perfect. I loved the animals and the proximity to a great hiking trail.
