  Staff very accommodating, fantastic value for the money - lovely (if a wee bit old and tired) room with very carefully thought out details such as quality hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee in the room (with real cream for the drinks - not powered stuff). It felt more like a family hotel than a chain hotel (and I mean that as a positive comment.) I left my sat-nav on show in my car, they even phoned me while I was out to let me know and then went to my room found my car keys and got it out for me!   The location was perfect, very central for the city's main attractions, especially the Minster and the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early but they kept our bags and put them in the room when it was ready. We arrived early and since the room was ready, they let us go upstairs and freshen up before sightseeing. The room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view of the wall. It was within walking distance to everything and had free parking for our rental car. I can highly recommend Gregorian House.
