Couldn't fault anything- staff and Hoteliers were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful hotel in a great location. A warm and friendly atmosphere. Very helpful hosts. Lovely rooms, and a fantastic view from the coniston room which we stayed in. Especially on easter sunday morning, with the snow. A gorgeous breakfast, and dining room. Everything about this hotel was fantastic, would definetly return back, and reccomend. - W

Everything about the Hotel is first class. From the moment we checked in the staff are so friendly and very professional everything was excellent. It was my birthday and we had chocolates left in the room and also a nice touch there had been placed a hot water bottle in the bed. Never had that before. Yes all in all a first class hotel one to come

this was our first visit to the lamplighter we were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff we arrived with our 2 cavalier dogs who were made a big fuss of we also were asked if we wanted to eat in a separate room so the dogs could be with us which we declined as they are more than happy to stay in their sleeping crate .the breakfas

The innkeepers were charming! The hotels rooms newly decorated and the
kingsize beds very comfortable with lovely pillows. The breakfast was
also particularly delicious, with fresh juices, Greek yogurt with berry
compote for example. They accommodated well for special vegetarian
requests, even going out for veggie sausage for us for our second
day's breakfast. Well done and thank you for a fantastic stay! Mr

most amazing location with lake views that were absolutely beautiful.
The hotel itself was fabulous from the decor to the food. Our room had
the most perfect view of the lakes. Will most definitely be returning.
