  janette and brian made our stay at the lakes special. we arrived to a big smile from janette and as it was our anniversary she left a card and chocolates for us which i thought was really lovely x x x the rooms were spotless and breakfast was to die for x janette and brian are so friendly and helpful i would recommend anyone to stay there x x x - ... vad folk säger » Clean, efficient, friendly, very good value for money. The owners were prepared to drive me to a conference if there wasn't a bus. This is an establishment that goes out of its way to make your stay comfortable.

  I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, wonderful choice and quality of breakfasts. The owner, told me he used to own a fish restaurant so that's obviously why the fish dishes are so perfect. Modern, bright up to date bedroom with a fabulous power shower. I have stayed at many B and Bs in this area and this surpasses the lot (and it's a lo... vad folk säger » t cheaper than many of the others) Great location. - Great location. Safe and easy walk to both Windermere and Bowness. Food was unbelievable. Huge choice and excellent quality. Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.

  The owners had arranged a lovely basket of flowers for my wife as it was our anniversary but also upgraded our room what a lovely touch, a very clen and bright hotel lovely freindly staff in a great position. Very confortable rooms and great to have a bar and social area so that you can unwind after a busy day. Breakfasts were excellent and offers ... vad folk säger » a good evening menu if you don't want to go out. - This is an excellent hotel, i cannot beleive that is only rated as a 2 Star. The staff made us feel very welcome and worked very hard. Nothing was too much trouble.The food was very good and our compliment to the Chef in this regard bearing in mind the small kitchen he has to work in.Overall a very good experience and it wont be long before we return

  Bed was comfortable, good clean bathroom. Food was really excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. For a one night stay it would be superb.
