Good value
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Lively pub on the premises, but doesn't disturb those wanting rest
Good qualify food, especially the breakfast menu.
The room we had was very quiet. The bedding was excellent and the purest of white. Very good laundrey personnel I guess. Have stayed here once before.
Staff were very helpful with changing room for my father who would have had difficulty with 2 flights of stairs also with printing tickets for us. alla recensioner »
The Warmth. The caring staff and the hopspitality they showed us. Especially young Debbie and the upstairs maid.
The food was also quite good.
Room was clean and comfortable, bar and restaurant lively with pretty good service considering it was Easter weekend.
Loved the open fires.
The room was quite small but comfortable. Good size bathroom, breakfast was fine. Plenty of parking which is free.
Pleasant grounds.
Hotel was clean, welcoming and the room size was good and well situated. The bed was comfy and the room warm.
Value and flexibility. Breakfast good for price and staff dealt with the mess made by kids with no fuss.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and made me feel quite comfortable.
Food, price, friendly helpful staff particularly the manager.
Staff were polite, quick to respond to quiry & safe.
The room was lovely and clean, Lovely location,.
The service and the evening meal was excellent.
Room was spacious and clean. Food was nice.
Close to Hampton Court Palace.
Friendly staff, clean rooms.
Location.
Nice size rooms.
Restaurant was excellent.
Location and room size.
Nice hotel and staff.
good staff value.
Speedy book in.
Everything.
Good facilities with food and drink available from the integrated pub in a residential location. Rooms adequate and for money bearing in mind location.
The setting iof the hotel was OK. I stayed there because I had been before and my relations knew where to come to see me.
The restaurant was very good & reasonably priced.
Staff friendly & helpful.
pleasant staff, nice room, very nice restaurant food. lovely log fire.
hotel was in a lovely area and on arrival looked very welcoming.
quiet location. nice dining pub attached to rooms.
Spacious room, reasonable dinner in restaurant.
The food in the restaurant was very good.
Staff tried to be helpful.
Comfortable.
Location and restaurant.
Breakfast.
I was impressed by the Managers reaction to my issue regards the room being like a sauna. Unfortunately we couldn't open a window as this overlooked the smoking area. The heating was turned off for the floor as this couldn't be done in individual rooms.
Food was also good as was the Young's bitter.
the staff were friendly.
Barman was friendly.
The room was far too hot and the radiator wouldn't turn off. Had the window open all night.
Bad drain smell in the bathroom.
Toilet flush needed some maintenance.
The shower in the bedrooim copuld have had a new head support.
despite loving the open fires, there were too many small kids around for them not to have fire guards at peak kid time!.
Nothing really.
I got lost twice trying to find my way out and that was after I looked for the fire exit when I first arrived. I had trouble sleeping as there was a background hum (air conditioning I think) that went on tot he early hours.
there were only two beds in the family room so kids had to share. Perhaps I could have asked for a cot and solved this as staff were accommodating. Toilet seat in need of fixing and hot water tap dangerously hot.
There should be basic toiletries such as toothpaste in the rooms.
long awkward walk and climb to bedroom. Signposting was nearly OK but had to watch it very carefully to avoid wrong turns.
Little bit disappointed at the continental breakfast no cooked meat but otherwise plenty of tea/coffee orange juice,.
The expensive breakfast was not up to much.
No bath in room.
Sink was blocked and took a long time to get the attention of staff as they were busy talking to each other behind the bar - although when I got their attention they were helpful and friendly.
'Free' breakfast was nothing special.
Small beds.
Drains in the bathroom were smelly.
Noise from bar after closing time.
a bit pricy.
breakfast a bit sparse.
Radio in room 109 didn't work properly.
Room overlooked pub lawn. Noise from guests of the pub, overflying aircraft and a nearby road could be a problem if the room allocated is on the front of the building and an early nights sleep is desired.
The fact that there was no hot water on the morning I left! The Manager was very helpful as he did not know of the situation until he came down at 6.30 a.m. He found me a room with hot water to enable me to have a shower.
Room in need of updating.
unfortunately there was a heating problem & we had no hot water (not their fault though)
also we had to leave early for Heathrow airport so no breakfast was available which was included in the price..we asked for early continental but was told 'no'.
when checking in was surprised for the request of immediate payment also not being shown to room was not as welcoming as expected. Very small room and bathroom floor tiles were loose. but this may have been due to taking one of the last rooms available.
lay out of room lots of wasted space.
sink blocked.
needs up dating.
Heavy duvet - uncomfortable on a hot night. Breakfast starts at 8am. Useless, if like us, you have to leave by then.
customers smoking at the front of the building meant that the some seeped through to the bedrooms at the front.
Told breakfast fro 7am but when I & other guests went to go down we were prevented from goimng downstairs by the electronic locking system operated by the cleaning lady who said it was later Saturday & she had to clean first. Surely not the way guests should be treated apart from the safety issues.
check in service slow.
The room was cold and wifi did not work in the room. Although promissed the discription of the hotel. The room was very small.
The moment i arrived I was hit for full payment by an employee behind the bar.
Having stayed at a hotel before (about 25 times a year between work and pleasure), a smile, a swipe of the card, help finding the room etc would have been a little more well received than being treated like someone who was about to run away without paying.
Hotel.com have my details abnd I had also reserved a table for the night. Hardly hit and run material.
Potential fire trap, the door to the exit stairs on the 1st floor is locked from the other side at night. The night exit door was difficult to find without emergency lighting. I am surprised that the authorities allow this .
Very limited menu .
No mini fridge.
Bedroom had loads of cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, and loose grouting on the floor tiles in the bathroom.
Dated bedroom. Very dated bathroom. Too warm and no temperature control on radiators.
