  We were given a family room on the ground floor in the stable block, so it was more than adequate for two - spacious, cool (it was 25C all day outdoors) very clean and comfortable. The stable block is a conference facilty rather than a hotel, but we were expecting that, so not in the least bit disappointed. I suspect the bigger rooms in the main... vad folk säger » house are more expensive and are used during a block booking, eg for a wedding. We had the whole gardens and grounds to ourselves all evening, and t - The food was excellent. One of the best wedding meals I have had. Simple, plentiful, well cooked and tasty. The chef Heickle could not have been more attentive. All the staff were excellent
