  We were visiting family in Tredegar and because we have a small dog decided to book B&B in a village pub. We stumbled accross The Castle Inn. What a find! Small pub with 3 letting rooms, small menu but great choice plus specials board. The owners and staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent as was the follo... vad folk säger » wing mornings breakfast. Very reasonable prices. Bedroom spacious, clean and so quiet. The bar area could do with a bit of a refurb but hey for the mo - The hotel has an excellent location just off the Heads of the Valleys main road yet close to Ebbw Vale and within easy driving distance to the towns of Abergavenny and Merthyr and is also nearby the beautiful countryside of the Brecon Beacons. The pub-style hotel is clean, very comfortable, offers good food and, especially, has really friendly staff.
