Very clean and comfortable rooms throughout, including the bar and breakfast room.
Breakfast was very good with a great choice of foods to have as well as an in-room option.
The location is great, a short but nice walk along the sea front to the main town area (where most of the restaurants and bars are) and again a short walk into the town centre

The Hillcroft was situated in a quiet location with easy access to the beach or town centre, the owners were very friendly and extremely helpful, they provided information regarding local attractions and places to eat, the breakfast selection was very good and cooked to order, the acommadation exceeded expectations and we will definitely visit again.

Very clean and comfortable with quality toiletries and personal touches in room. A first class breakfast too.
I had a single attic room which was hot in a heatwave, so the owner offered me a double room if it was too hot for me! The room cooled down so I did not take up the offer. Nice gesture though.

The rather grand and very traditional style, especially of the spacious dining and reception areas on the ground floor. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Very good Full English breakfasts. Helpful staff. Good location, facing the sea, on the western edge of central area but easy walking distance to the harbour and town. Ample car parking space.

Refreshing swim in the pool before breakfast. Breakfast is at 0830 which meant that it was perfectly cooked and ready to go at that time - no rubber eggs cooked for hours.
