The staff were efficient and friendly. The hotel was very clean and tidy.The views of the harbour and other islands were excellent. The buses and boat trips were very close as was a range of places to eat in the evening.
The steps. Should have had local bottled beer in the honesty bar i.e. from Randall's brewery down the road.

105 steps from the street, might be hard for older customers. If you forget or leave your door code in your room a phone number to call to let you in would help.

Steps into Town!
The staff were very friendly. The view was wonderful from the garden. The breakfast was adequate though over cooked eggs
not being told in advance the price of the room when we booked an extra night. Being told that there were a few steps when there were 105. Mould in the bathroom of a room which cost £212 for 2 for one night

Website very misleading hotel is on a flight of steps hotel up is 35 steps down to lower street level is 105 steps nothing was shown very back I suffer lung problems they need to warn people
The 105 steps certainly made you think closely to plan your day without too many trips up and down, but once up, the location was a pleasure. Excellent breakfast and good room service.
The view was stunning. The garden was lovely and also had the view. The bar and restaurant area were attractive and welcoming.
The 100 steps from the road to the hotel was tough going with luggage.The 3 flights to the room with no lift added to the hike! It was a shame that the bar wasnt manned. It was an honesty bar. I think it woulod have been more inviting if there had been staff there.
