The room was fantastic - very comfortable and nicely decorated, we felt very comfortable and at home. The service we received from the proprietors was also excellent - we were well attended to and when we asked if we could leave our bags at the hotel on the last day after checking out, they were very accommodating. Friendliness of owners , nothing too much trouble. The friendly service.The lady who runs the hotel was very pleasant and helpful. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. There was only one shower for the whole hotel but that didn't cause us any problems. The breakfast was a pretty standard full english with toast, cereals and orange juice. It's only 2 minutes walk for a sea view and one quirky added bonus is that you can watch cricket whilst on the loo!. the location. friendly propieters. Staff very friendly nothing too much trouble. easy access to town centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast, nothing too much trouble. The bed was very uncomfortable(the springs had gone) however I did mention this to the lady owner and she was most apologetic and said they would get it changed asap, no-one had mentioned this to her so she didn't know.Great view across the cricket ground. Friendly staff good service. It was close to the town and sea front.There was no soap in my room. bit scruffy. Access to room tiring (top floor). Decor in need of updating. Bedroom had no bedside tables, bedside lamps and nothing but the bed to sit on.no on suite very basic would not stay there again.we stayed there for one night that was enough. Rooms were not of a good standard, we had a sewerage smell coming up through the sink in our room, the communal toilet didn't lock and was ridiculously small and cold, the food served was absolutely awful and inedible.
