  My 2 children and I found the cottage very welcoming and comfortable. Miles and Christine are great hosts. We had a private living room with coal fire burning stove next to the bedroom. In the morning Christine prepared a delicious continental breakfast in the living room just for us.   The meal we had in the restaurant was lovely and at a good price. The atmosphere was very relaxed, staff were very friendly. Overall it is a a very good hotel to stay in, nice sized room tec. - Easy access, bar/restaurant close by. Close to village centre. Clean, tidy room. Friendly approachable staff.

  Kevin and Pauler made us feel very welcome.. We stayed in the house rather than an annexe and this was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was really good and exceptional value at only £2.50 each. The local pub was very friendly and served good food at a reasonable price. The £2.50 full english breakfast upgrade has to be the best deal in town and the quality is first class. Even taking the cheap price out of the equation, this is the place to stay in the local area.

  We travelled with our dog and the hotel served for dual purposes. Night 1 overnight stay prior to a business trip flying from Stansted and night 2 an overnight stay en route to Dover. Angela is a great hostess and made us feel so welcome, whilst allowing us our own space. There are walks nearby to exercise your dogs. We also know the Thatchers in Hatfield Heath, - Nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and helpful owners, the bed was very comfortable and our room was lovely and clean. We felt very welcome and now we have found Bonningtons we will definitely be staying again before we fly out of Stansted and the fact that it included parking and transfers to the airport was a bonus for us.
