  Booked through letsbookhotel.com but on arrival we found out that letsbookhotel.com did not forward our details and therefore found that there were no rooms available. The owner and manager went out of his way to find us a local B&B for the first night and luckily had a delux room available for our second night. All staff especially Gary, Donna and Rachel (M.I.l) were exceptional and made our stay absolutely fabulous and would recomend anyone to sta - Hospitality was excellent, made to feel very welcome.Hotel is in a beautiful setting.Food cooked to a very high standard. After many visit`s to the Lake`s Hazel Bank hotel has been the best. We will be visiting again soon. 10 out of 10 great stay

  extremely well run hotel.Central for lots of activities.Lovely food and our dog was most welcome.Never been able to park so near our room. - The hotel is situated in an excellent location for walking etc. Scafell hotel is v comfortable and all that was expected/hoped for.

  The journey north was oh so slow but the warden was quite happy for us to arrive after closing time, which was a great relief and we had a room to ourselves (two of us) so we could continue packing for the weekend. The bunks were very comfortable and were already made up for us. We could get a beer on arrival. There were plenty of showers and toil... vad folk säger » ets. Breakfast was great! with lovely hot porrage and lots more unexpected treats. Plenty of parking. Everything was clean and comfortable. - Very clean - excellent!!! Nice bar area and good breakfast! Very good value!!! We had sleeping bags, but bedding is in rooms - so no needed! We stayed first time in UK`s yha Hostel and we were worrying about atmosphere comparing to our polish hostels but really enjoyed!!! Lovely !!! We`ll be using yha Hostels before book any hotels from now!!!

  This was a really beautiful hotel. Easy to find, plenty of parking and in beautiful surroundings. The garden was particular lovely, as was the quality of the food (we ate off the bar menu and it was very high quality). Beds were super comfortable and rooms blended together the modern and old perfectly. The hotel has a lovely feel to it. We wou... vad folk säger » ld definitely stay again if we were back in that area, and that's saying a lot as we are the sorts of people who usually like to try new places often. - I love the fact that my husband and I can relax. We love the location. We love everything about the hotel and I feel that we will become regulars. we both have very stressful jobs and we work 13 hours most days. we like the fact that nobody can contact us on our phones. There is no guilt factor about work. It is peaceful unlike London.

  good food. friendly owners. helpful in regards to the walks and surrounding areas. beautiful scenery. would return to the hotel in the future comfortable large room with new bathroom fab shower. loved sitting for evening meal looking out to view the garden and bird tables watching all the various birds feeding from them my favourite was the wood p... vad folk säger » ecker. good location near various walks and being able to catch the boat to keswick and other areas of interest. - The food was just wonderful; the room was beautifully appointed; the location was delightful with lovely views; the service was outstanding. All in all we had a delightful three days half board - we would have been fed up not to have booked in for dinner! The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really made the stay for us.
