  The Saff were excellent, location was good and a great breakfast and evening meal.. Beds were nice and clean and comfortable fresh towels.   Mycket fräsht hotell, stort rum och trevlig personal. - Hotellet var mycket centralt beläget, vilket i och för sig inte är svårt kriterie att uppnå i en stad som Stirling som är väldigt liten. Jag upplevde det också som att ljudisoleringen var mycket bra, den ena natten pågick en bröllopsfest i närheten av vårat rum, men detta störde inte vår natts... vad folk säger » ömn. Men framförallt var det servicen och bemötandet av peronalen som gjorde vistelsen prisvärd.

  My partner and I stayed over at the Abbotsford Lodge after attending a beautiful wedding at the Roman Camp. We had one of the double rooms at the top, sharing a shower room with other guests. Everything was great from the beginning when we found ourselves in the hall till friendly good-bye. We loved the breakfast with haggis, real feast in the morning!   It was very professionally ran the food was excellent and the grounds where well maintained. The chairs were also off great comfort. - the comfort and pleasantness of staff. the food was excellent and we adored the spa facilities, better than stobo.

  We are walking from John o Groats to Lands End and used the West Highland Way as part of the route. Ashbank is right on the West Highland Way and was perfect for us. We received a very warm welcome and were instantly made to feel at home.   The friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for any one of them.Even my dogs were welcome. Excellent choice of meals and very wellpresented.   Beautiful setting, beautiful house, beautiful breakfast! There's a lodge more or less at the end of the drive that does lovely food and you can drink the night away there and talk to the locals while they spin you a story or two! Followed by a sing song! Breakfast was plentyful with lovely home made jams. There are no tv's in the rooms, - This has to be one of the best values for family lodging in the Loch Lommond area!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the self catering cottage. With 2 bedrooms, one with a double and single upstairs and another downstairs with a bunk bed set, this cottage easily accommodates a family or group of 5 people. It has a kitchen and a living/ dining area with a table that 4 can comfortably sit at for meals. The Londis grocery store is an easy 5 minute walk away and if you prefer a meal out

  What is not to like ? The staff make you so welcome as soon as you walk through the door Meals are to my taste, beds are comfortable everything worked. Staff participated in the surprise and we had a lovely evening/night at the hotel. The hotel is very old however, I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was.   Although only staying for one night all staff were courteous and very friendly. Room was spotless and bed so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. - Staff here extremely helpful and courteous. Service was prompt. Rooms were spotless and the beds and pillows comfortable.

  The staff was very friendly, the food was amazing (unfortunately we missed the dinner as we arrived late, but the breakfast was really really good) and the bed was amazing, slept like a baby.
