  The accomadation was excellent, and the staff were great - couldnt do enough for us. I arrived late, after everyone else and they made a real effort to get my meal that I ordered on arrival ready at more or less the same time that the reast of my party had ordered earlier. A very simple 10 minutedrive to Alton Towers and right on the doorstep for local amenities. TheHotel itself was very clean tidy and had a nice quiet but friendlyatmosphere. The meal we had in the evening was excellent and reasonablypriced. The staff where friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough foryou. Made us up Bacon sandwiches to go.

  Great parking facilities for a town centre hotel. Good location. Big effort from staff to ensure you had everything a needed. Rooms excellent, heating just right for the cold weather. Food very well cooked and served with a smile.   Staff - From when we first arrived the staff were so friending and attentive. The young guy behind the bar checked us in, booked a table in the restuarant, got us a round of drinks - awesome service. Our waitress was great she was so friendly and even stopped in to say bye on her way out. The room - lovely modern and comfy bed Food - Lush gastro ... vad folk säger » pub and they do a great value 3-course menu for £19.99. After dinner we chilled in the cosy pub. - Friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Decor excellent, room comfortable, ambience welcoming and obviously popular. Evening menu was excellent and breakfast was good. We would recommend the Dog and Doublet and if travelling in that area we would hope to stay there again. Thank you to all the staff and Nathan but thankyou to Natalie in particular. She made us most welcome and paid attention to small details.

  Ability to book up easily and be looked after efficiently. We only stayed one night after a wedding reception near by and were able to access town easily leaving car safely. We have been once in a group before on a Christmas do and were pleased our stay was as satisfying. thankyou for a good nights rest and excellent breakfast.x - Lovely friendly... vad folk säger » helpful staff. We enjoyed an enjoyable meal and retired with no disturbance atall. We totally enjoyed our stay the hotel was well worth the money.   The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and tidy. Good car parking and the hotel was quiet. So we all slept well. The buffet breakfast covers all the bases, cereal, pastries, scrambled egg, sausage etc etc, but no bacon oddly. So don't expect a full English! I don't consider that a major problem tho! - Just a basic room but... vad folk säger » so comfy ,everything you need ,tv ,kettle ,lovely warm shower and a comfy bed .breakfast was great and the staff were lovely and everywhere was realy clean .the price was outstanding and I shall be staying again next year when we go to the Download festival ,brilliant thank you holiday inn x x
