We had a fantastic stay at the hotel, everything was first class. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, the staff very friendly and accomodating. The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

Lovely setting overlooking the loch. Wifi from room was excellent. Chocolates on arrival. Shortbread and tea in room. Very nice bathroom. Roomy with heated floor. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the porridge and my own pot of hot chocolate. Short drive to Ben Nevis trailhead for hiking. Excellent location for running along loch, restaurants, shopping.
