  Friendly, helpful, smart, staff. Lovely uniforms and dress code for all staff. Clean and bright hotel and rooms. Good food served in well equipped/appointed restaurant. Immaculate service. Friendly staff in leisure centre. Clean and well equipped leisure centre. Our room was clean, spacious. The bathroom had an abundance of nice clean thick towels,... vad folk säger » and lots of toiletries and supplies. - As I live in Eastbourne I know the hotel and had no hesitation in booking. All I can say is that if you want to be treated like the only one at the hotel, The Grand is the place to go. The staff are excellent in all respects. Beds/pillows wonderful. Lots of towels in the bathroom. Spa - fab. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - a must. What more could you ask for - nothing.

  Terrific hotel. Very helpful staff and good attitude. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely pool and spa facilities. Separate steam and sauna for men and women.   House and grounds are delightful. The bedroom looked over to the Downs and we enjoyed an early morning view of both deer and rabbits grazing. The breakfast table looked out on to a formal garden with the hills beyond. Mrs Alderman was most welcoming and solicitous and went out of her way to accommodate our needs.   Couldn't ask for more. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. En suite shower was superb. Breakfast was outstanding. Owners were welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Bed was so comfortable we have bought a similar one ourselves. Will recommend to anyone and will return our - We only stayed for one night, but would've loved to have stayed longer it was so enjoyable! We stayed in the Rosemary & Thyme room which is beautifully furnished with a great deal of thought to attention to detail. Even down to a small floor tray for your shoes! The bathroom is lovely too, with the best shower ever!! Breakfast, very tastey, would defiantly recommend the kippers, very tastey! We were made to feel very welcome, and would recommend to anyone visiting Hastings!

Also the fact that you could book just 1 night ...on a bank holiday weekend nr brighton this is a rare find ...hence 'budget friendly' status! Friendly, welcoming and really convenient ...woul... vad folk säger » d definitely go back. - I was met with a warm & friendly welcome, and as a solo lady visitor, I felt completely safe and comfortable. The Studio was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and within easy walking distance to explore either the South Downs or the Town Centre.   This is a super hotel. Our suite was large, airy and well appointed. Facilities (swimming pool, gym etc.) were great - clean, modern and in tip-top condition, with good opening hours (from early ' til late). Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet extensive in terms of choice and very good. Location nice an quiet quiet with stunning views... vad folk säger » across Sussex. 10 out of 10. - it was our 25th anniversary and we enjoyed the whole experience, we have recommended the hotel to all our friends and family.

  The location is great...right by the sea front and with easy access to the best areas of Brighton's dining and shopping. The old building used to be wine merchants and has a beautiful staircase and reception area. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped...including the feather pillows that we had requested. The service from Baldo ... vad folk säger » on the front desk was great...although he was clearly too busy to cope with all demands and requests that were queuing for his attention. The bar staf - Everything about the stay was excellent, from the moment we dropped our bags off (earlier than check-in) to actually being shown the room (bed was so comfortable), to the bar and bistro. Found all staff excellent, very friendly and very helpful (recently back from Las Vegas where I stayed in a supposed luxury hotel! everything was the complete opposite too the Hotel du Vin). Both of us wished we had booked that extra day!
