Stunning location- an absolute haven. We had the pond room which was very roomy and luxurious with king sized bed and fantastic en-suite bathroom with large walk in shower. Lots of beautiful wood work everywhere with great attention to detail. We had our own decking and verandah with a gorgeous wildlife pond and private piece of garden which had been carefully tended to create a meadow effect. Was given a choice of well appointed rooms. Attention to detail in everything. Superb linen, thick fluffy towels. Loved the use of a Nespresso machine to add to the feel of quality n style to the experience.

This was exceptional value for money, very modern and stylish with great facilitys, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and pillows, everything we needed was provided, the owner Tony couldnt do enough for us. very close to great restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. The owner was very friendly and helpful with advice on where to eat. The accommodation is of a very high spec, beautiful bedroom and bathroom and lovely, lovely breakfast with homemade bread.

I stayed here in March as I wanted to stay in this historic property. Wow what a great decision that was, the whole house is fabulous, full of character, spotlessly clean, stylish and beautifully appointed. Greeted wonderfully by the owners, a Devon home made cream tea on arrival in their beautiful sitting room in big leather chairs. Very clean and comfortable accommodation with tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit and toiletries supplied daily. Debbie and Derek are excellent hosts who are very welcoming and succeed in making your stay very enjoyable. Excellent choice of breakfast which is cooked to order. We will definitely stay there again.
Area is beautiful and peaceful with Clovelly a very short drive away. Hartland quay has stunning views particularly if it's windy!
