We received a friendly welcome, the decor and art work were unusual and immaculate, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We discovered a beach called Lusty Glaze which was within easy walking distance of Bedlam House which was absolutely fantastic. The train journey from Exeter to Newquay was very scenic and really added to the whole experience.

Everybody at the Hotel was very friendly and very helpful. The Hotel itself was very clean and the room cleaning was first class. Breakfasts were of a good size and the quality of the ingredients was great. Setting of the Hotel was excellent and the views were wonderful. We were sad to leave. If you want a formal 4/5 star environment, don't come to Lower Barn! It is informal, very friendly, eclectic in design and appearance - you could say "quirky" - and that isn't pejorative. Bright colours everywhere,clever ideas - .how many people would use a huge cable reel end as a dining table ? - on which we had excellent breakfasts

When we arived, everybody was so nice. (and the stayed nice all the time!) Our chamber was like a little house and we had a tv with some nice dvd's, so we could watch a movie (or two). The colors in the room were fantastic! Every little thing was designed and it was beautiful. We had dinner at the bed and breakfast. That was amazing! There was also an hot tub. lovely!

We had an awesome stay at The Grange. More than met our expectations in every way.
The room was stunning with its four poster bed, beautiful roll top bath which was so relaxing, complimentary bath wash and shampoo and soft fluffy white towels provided. Comfy settee in the room to watch the wide screen TV along with tea and coffee making facilities

On arrival the owner was most helpful in explaining the local eateries. The room was tastefully decorated and was very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was beautifully presented with fresh fruit salad, cereals and a cooked breakfast. The owners' attention to detail was second to none. Everything from the crockery, to the food, to the room was exquisite! Perfect choice of accommodation for either business or leisure.

I had visited bude about ten years ago but was unable to see much of the area as it was for a bereavment so i wanted to spend a little more time there so i returned there this time last year unfortunately i was delayed in my arrival and the weather was not to great but the Brendon Arms was most wecoming and i hand a fantastic meal that night which made me want to return which i did getting more time to enjoy Bude and the Brendon Arms was just as good as last year.
