  The owner was very welcoming. Also our room had various items e.g. dvd player, alarm clock etc which while, not strictly necessary, gave our stay a nice touch. - short and sweet: just great (put i don't try the breakfast)

  Rooms were amazing- they had obviously spent some money. I loved that they were named after people like A.A. Milne (the room we stayed in. However, next time, I would like to be in either C.S.   It was a new guest house. It was very clean, very good quality of pillows and matrices, we had an excellent sleep. The entire decoration was minimal but beautiful. The stuff was very helpful and professional. Very close to the train station and the center. The staff are fantastic, the food is very good and the rooms are simply beautiful! The location was perfect for our weekend visiting the beautiful city of Oxford followed by a Bicester shopping trip on the way home only 15 minutes from the hotel. We looked at Malmaison but thought it was too much for what it was so when we found this one at such a fab price, we booked it immediately! 15 minutes in a taxi £8-£10 to Oxtord Westside - dropped off just outside Malmai

  The staff at Becket was welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and the place felt private and familiar yet was right in the thick of Oxford.   The Lakeside was well located in Oxford---within walking distance to most of the colleges, museum, etc., but outside of the hustle and bustle of Oxford proper, so was a bit more quiet. We are in our 70sand we could walk there in 10 mins.

  Very nice room. Clean and comfortable. There were even bookshelves packed with books in the hall in case you wanted something to read. Nice touch! Location was great-short drive or bus ride to the main city. JRR Tolkien is buried in the cemetary across the street so that is a point of interest. Breakfast was adequate and nicely laid out. Not a very chatty person, but answered questions adequately. Very clean and everything expected provided. Location convenient for traveling and yet in a quiet surbub.   Our visit as part of a self-organised university tour. The Bocardo is central and walking distance to most of the colleges, museums, shops, malls and covered market. It is located on George Street above Jamie Oliver's restaurant, cinemas and theatre across the road. Although breakfast is not provided, George Street has an array of cafes and restaurants serving breakfast by 6am. - I loved everything about The Boacardo and would recommend it to anyone. They went out of their way to give us an early check in, helped by holding our bags after our stay while we did a tour, recommended a good food pub, offered adapters, had quality toiletries, etc. Beds were comfortable, and temperature could be controlled by us.This was a delightful hotel which I would stay in again.

  Our twin room was clean, and decorated in a modern fashion. The beds were super comfy and all the linen & towels as pristine as you would expect. Very welcoming host and the breakfast room modern. The buses run really frequently and costs - The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, offering coffee if you were sitting in the common area and making individual portions of English breakfast for each guest in the morning. The building has character and is pretty, with a really nice veranda where breakfast is served. The location was pretty convenient - about 20 minutes from the center of the city.
