  We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast. We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs. Breakfast - Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm. Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in. Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!) The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold. All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

  The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Friendly reception, free parking,had room 119 a twin with sea view to front and side , spacious well decorated with modern bathroom for £71 and a full English thrown in , me im not complaining.   Location was excellent, 2 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes from town. Stunning views of the beach and golf club from balcony rooms. Bed incredibly comfortable. Easy hotel parking too, for £10. Cheaper than parking anywhere else and can leave car parked up for the whole stay as everything in walking distance. Staff lovely and friendly. Breakfast... vad folk säger » was excellent and well worth paying for, recommend breakfast at the hotel. Bar was lovely for a drink in the evening on the terrace. - The ease of checking in,very friendly,helpful staff, great atmosphere / decor, great meals and great views.We have stayed in six other hotels this week,paying up to 50% more and received inferior service. Carnmarth staff for customer service, character,attitude and delivery10 out of 10. magic!!!!!!!!! When we come back to the uk we will be spending more time @Carnmarth. Love you guys

  The location, high on the headland within a couple of strides of the beach, fashion & surf shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and efficient. The spa is just what one expects from a brand new facility, although the pool could be larger for the serious swimmer. There is an outside pool which looks good although we did not test it. All in all we had a VERY relaxing and enjoyable stay, we will certa - Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

  I was bowled over by the friendliness and team-spirited nature of ALL of the staff I met - and also by their constant willingness to assist. Moreover, everyone was particularly welcoming to my two children (boys aged 14 and 11); which always makes a real difference to the holiday experience. All in all, I wished I - I originally picked the Hotel California because I liked the name, wanted to stay in Newquay and the price is a good value. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Interiors are beautiful. The dining room had lots of windows, so you can enjoy the scenery while dining. Beautiful view of the bay from the outside deck. The outdoor pool looked inviting, but the temperature was little to cool for me to try it. If I get a chance to go back to the U.K., I will definitely stay at the Hotel California

  Everything. Location was perfect. Views were perfect. Shack was so clean and tidy and provided everything you needed. The access to toilets showers and food was so easy. The price was extremely fair. The staff were so helpful and extremely accomodating. Staff were friendly and very helpful when we asked for an extension of stay. The shack itself is beautifully located right on the beach. It's clean and warm enough in summer.

  I have stayed in many fine hotels throughout the world on both business and pleasure and to be honest I didnt know what to expect, especailly with the price so cheap. Frerinds had booked me in. I have to say that I was delighted. The staff were very freindly, the hotel clean, a good bar in reception, the view from my bedroom was awsome overlooking... vad folk säger » the Atlantic Ocean. This was probably the best deal I have ever had. Would certainly recomend. - Staff where lovely, very cheap so we was excepting cheap and cheerful honestly we didn't expect much, but the room and service was amazing and would go back again! We went for a weekend away a group of girls just wanting a bed we got much more lovely sea view and clean and tidy room! So thank you! Us city folk enjoyed our weekend in Newquay :)
