Fantastic location just 5 minutes from Russell Square tube station. Nice, cozy room. Clean premises. The room was very clean and tidy, there was many facilites such as T.V, kettle, hairdryer etc. good location close to City, West End, helpful staff. comfortable room, good facilities, friendly staff.24/7 reception. The hotel was generally clean and tidy. I did not have breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. The staff were courteous. The location is good. The street is not quiet, but also not extremely busy.alla recensioner »
It's very cheap, and near the subway and centre by walking. The hotel has a very good location. It is near the underground station Russell Square and the Piccadilly line that bring us from Heathrow and take us to the centre of London ( Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square…).The room is very small and the bathroom is similar to the bathrooms from the airplanes. The only difference is that has a shower. It was convenient to bus routes. The ensuite facility was good. Location was relevant. It was very close to the British Museum and the Brunswick Centre and the Tube Station. The location.Location, easy to get around. location of the hotel. unsatisfactory. Not much, when I ordered I thought it was a hotel but it was a bed and breakfast. I thought it was a 3 star but it was only a 2 star.It was close to Euton Station. the cushion on my bed was very uncomfortable i was waking up every 2 hours to rearrange the pillow, and the windows were very thin as i could hear the traffic and peoples conversations who were walking by, apart from that though my stay was enjoyable :). breakfest quality. too many times calling bell was ringing in middle of the night and early morning hours.Did we really have to check out at 10am :-). The heating was on in the hotel room when I got there. I asked that it be turned off, but it was turned on to the maximum position. When I asked again to have it turned off, I was told it was off. After some trials I got it turned off.Breakfast could be improved. We didn´t have any cheese or ham. Just bread, butter and jam. bed frame was bent making the bed slope to one side. Only one chair in a double room. Had to register and have breakfast in Guilford Hotel. Difficult stairs to negotiate in both hotels. Inconvenient to go between hotels for breakfast in the rain. No chambermaiding on Sunday - we were not told this. Had to wait more then ten minutes for hot water for the shower. Very limited continental breakfast. No tea in room (the coffee was good). The window had no catch to close it and I felt that the lock to my room had no deadlock facility. The carpet looked like it had never seen a hover!. Hotel needs updating. No tea only coffee in the room. Requested twin beds and got a double instead. very small rooms, staff. poor room and facilities. the room was more like a storage room than a bedroom, curtain for the window was ill fitting and it was never properly cleaned in the 3 nights we stayed there.towels were never changed, stairwell down to room was poorly lit. linen bags and hoover was left lying in the hallway.plus you had to use the hotel next door for breakfast.it was not a hotel. the room was terrible. small and the toilet a box. Didn't like it at all. The under sheet had a blood stains, the blanket had yellow staines, the room about was making noises all night. I did not bother with the continental breakfast. Worst hotel experience I have had, £58 for very little suggest travel lodge closer to Euston Station and at least you can expect a reasonable service. Room was disgusting.
