Other reviews indicated trouble with showers: this was not the case in our room which had an electrical shower. Bonus was Ren products in the bathroom.

It was different and really boutique like and I loved all the art and the cleanlines of the hotel. I also loved the accessibility of the hotel ie close to Brighton centre and the great sea view. The staff were helpful and friendly too. - Best night sleep I've had in a hotel. Would recommend this place to anyone who likes funky artwork in a comfort

Allt - Stayed at the Umi Brighton for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very nice breakfast which was included in the excellent rate. Personlig service. Hotellet känns väldigt privat för att vara ett hotell - Really friendly staff, nice touches in the room such as a bowl of mints/sweets and complimentary crisps. Fantastic view, great location overlooking regency square and seafront. Gorgeous bathroom with double whirlpool bath and Molton Brown toiletries. Delicious breakfast too.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a large room with 3 single beds and plent of room to walk around. The view was amazing, and perfect for us to get ready in and crash for one night. Staff were generally friendly. The room was very 'homely' even though it was obviously a very old building. Was cosy at night. The area wasn't too noisy even though it was on the beach. Very pleased with my stay, already planning to stay here again when me and my friend next visit Brighton.

The receptionist ( dark hair , European) who checked us in and out was a great advert for the hotel , professional and very friendly , nothing was too much trouble for her .
