  On our arrival and departure of the hotel we found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Our room was located at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor. The room key / card was a little tricky at first to use but after some visual instruction from the hotel staff found it ok to use, (just need to get the card in the correct position for the scanner... vad folk säger » to work). The room was warm, comfortable, quite and suited our needs. We are unable to pass comment on the hotel food as we did not eat in at all. My - I loved the location of the Abba Queensgate hotel; the neighborhood is very charming and a bit off the busy streets. I was also amazed at the size of the room; being a frequent traveler, I do not expect space in a London hotel room, but this hotel was very spacious and well appointed, which was lovely for our family of 4 sharing a family room. I loved the wooden floors, and the modern touches in the hotel which were interspersed with traditional embellishments of the original building. I wou

  Quiet room, clean and comfortable. Good check-in / check-out. - Friendliness of the staff, good size room, receptionist was able to help us choose a quieter room than specified and even offered another hotel if not happy.

Full English Breakfast, while pricey compared to others, was excellent but then this is 5* London so fair value.   Helgen var underbar. Personalen var så trevlig! Rum 21 var en upplevelse.... jag bor gärna i det rummet igen ;) - The Shaftesbury Kensington var ett mycket trevligt hotell.   Staff was great. Hotel was in a good location close to the Metro. It was a very nice suprise to find this hotel was such a place in considering my first time in London and not knowing the area. - This extremely clean and modern refurbed hotel is ideal for the weekend jaunt or business visit.

I will recommend it for any one ask me for hotels in london.

  Location was excellent - a short walk from Paddington. Room decor was a high standard with air con and power shower - Good location, near Hyde park, underground station 10 min walk away. Clean room, staff is ok.
